And don't tell me crap about poor notification, you know how to reach me LP. You have sent dozens of PMs and you know first hand how fast I respond when I'm on.

I wasn't in the quest. It wasn't my loss. I'm arguing on behalf of those players who either don't use the forum or don't speak english well enough to be taken seriously by this community. They have come to me and asked for help so I would like to make this community better suited for ALL players, not just those who are able to easily communicate with the GMs.

What I want out of the GMs is to be more aware of the scope of their community and be more reliant on themselves to provide proper service instead of relying on the community to tell them things they should already know (such as quest times).

Then you can do so without fanning the flames of ZT favoritism charges. I am not unreasonable, if you had simply said it like this then I would have appreciated it. When we are able to control emergency reboots, we will make sure quests aren't canceled because of it. However, if it truly is an emergency reboot that needs a reboot right away, then we can't help but to do it. And language barrier is not something we can deal with. I'm sorry to say, but none of us speak Chinese.

The PM reached me before this topic was even made. I'll admit GMPsipress and I didn't coordinate well.

Just thought I put my 2 cents in. Its kinda annoying having this server going down so many times this week especially during the time when you had double xp after the last maintenance

Reason for emergency reboot: players were able to upgrade rares with only one item. For example, you could make a g2 out of one g1 with 100% success rate, one g2 to make g3, one g3 to make one g4, so on and so forth. While we brought the servers down, we reduced how long certain corpses stay on the ground slightly, to balance jobbing and leveling. That's the reason for the "emergency." And players who abused this bug will have their rares revert back to its original state.

Is it so hard to tell us this without being asked? Players don't like to be kept in the dark. The more you make players feel included on what's going on, the more payers will trust you. If you always ask them to use blind faith for every reboot and don't tell them why or what it's for, then they will start to make theories.

I was planning on announcing it AFTER the server was brought down. Can you imagine what would happen if we gave that reason for the reboot?
