I might have to agree some quests might be difficult like the last Tailor's quest.
So erm, if you think some of the quests are too difficult, tell which here and why, I'll discuss with my team after about if we nerf those or not.

le tailleur de sa dernière quête difficiles font 35 Micha: W:! car nous avons besoin de nombreuses Scale Scorpion et la peau des orcs, et nous manquez beaucoup pour faire micha 35 ... quand j'essaie je utiliser comme 1000 + Scorpion Scale .... ses longues '-_ -
Je n'essaie pas d'autres emplois, mais je pense que sa non identiques? (Le scorpion pit ses pas grand en Zypern ^ o ^)

maybe need lets item to buy in tailor or make drop more scale/skin per Monster :?:

As previously suggested, 100% success rate on secondary jobs will greatly speed up things and prevent obvious frustration while still forcing players to actually play the game.

All primary job quests besides the butchering one might also need rebalancing as it is not possible to pick a specific item to gather - all of them come up randomly (though, granted, butchering needs killing, and killing takes time, but then you join a party and ask them if you can butcher their kills).

As for secondary jobs, a feature allowing players to pick a craftable item of the job level they're currently at - obviously the optimal one according to their stocks - instead of a specific one would put the abundant stocks of primary job materials to good use. Of course, you're always able to trade materials with other players, but that wouldn't solve the problem since the materials will eventually be needed for the other party as well.

Let's use an example. Say you're a rather newbish level 50 Blacksmith. You painfully make 20 Giant Axes, draining dozens of Peridots out of rocks and eating your nails to the flesh in the process, reap your rewards, all happy to switch to Leogryphs that sound so cool, then you notice these also need Peridots. Oh, the drama. What about those huge stocks of other materials you have gathered so far ? Will they be left to rot ?

Instead of Giant Axes, the quest NPC should allow for any level 50 Blacksmith item as long as it's crafted by the player. Heavy Helm, Cry For Moon and Chain Boots, all three level 50, use up Gold Ingots, which you will have plenty of at this point (even post-beta), and now, you can save the Peridots for the next "tier" (55, which doesn't allow for much choice - best case situation is 2 Bottom Ore, 2 Peridots).

Alternatively, crafting patterns could be changed to something more heterogeneous, but that's a lot of work...

As for quest quantities, if players can't fail, they would pretty much be fine as they are right now.

i'd rather see quantities changed just for the plain reason that the rare system that's beeing made will just be way to easy. 35 mishas takes damn long indeed, maybe the 2nd jobs should be max 20 quantities

I agree i like the new system it keeps people honest. You no longer can just let a macro do the work for you. Witch means you either lvl up fast or take a break from lvling to do jobs. I like this and i do hope they keep it.

We all know how boring leveling can become so to have something to do outside of that is good.

I can understand that some jobs are fustrating, such as 35 mischas. But if you make it, under the assumption that success rate is 100%, would you think it'll be easier, normal, or still too hard?


And also we're planning to make the item market OPEN to everyone and not just merchants since jobbing items will be in demand. So the option of buying ingredients will always be available.

Allow players to buy ingredients at shop (all), but the price will be expensive like 500k each or millions ;)

i think that 100% success rate will greatly help any jobber for their making quest as well as their rares gatherings.

the price will adjust according to how much ppl will pay for each item =P remember that getting gold wont be as easy as it was on previows servers (Y)
