You can not compare this gdlk spell to others:
It impossible to dodge it in most cases, the only chance is Nazi spell which gives you no physical protection;
Also its a curse, which not effect by white AC, TT, and rares;
Also it deals the highest single spell dmg in game and most fun part of it is the lag issue;
Also this spell is the most easy spell to combine with, LD+EX, LD+FB, LD+Rose/Dbl, and the LOL LD+Pepsi;
Also it makes you almost potless in most case, especially vs low lvs;
Also the distant compare with VT is ridiculous.
Also this spell is belong to PRIEST, the only char you can log on when you have trouble with 1v1 to every class. Warrior/Thief/Archer/Wiz can dare to duel priest with 30% win rate?
Look at the event and BM its easy to see, priest is the necessity, and the more you have, the more you rock =p

Priest is not only have this OP offense spell, but also have really good support spells and turtle set(CA/Smart/Resist or Eva/AC). You have to think in details. Will you log your shit warrior or other shit classes when they become d4 lv 150 instead your priest to pk others for a must-win purpose?
On topic: Orison should affect LD, but this not a good idea to change it right now. This spell needs a nerf not to add requirement.

OnTopic: Yeah, it might be too late to add this change (with the LD being related to Orison), but that's not a reason to let things be the way they are now. We have nearly 20 Pages in the "Nerf CA/Strike" Topic, a slight nerf on those rares wouldnt effect Priests using this category of rares.
The other thing that we could think off is a slight nerf on Lethy, if they want a full protection against Spells they have their D2-Spell (aka. Wings), Lethy reduces both type of damages: Spell/Physical damage, they should have to decide, either physical reduce (sfd) or magic reduce (Lethy).
Once again: I'm not hating, and this has nothing to do related with my feelings, but since every Priest is using CA/Strike I've parked my thief long time ago, cause I find it useless killing myself by hiting them. And I also agree that playing a Priest can be a hell of a boring thing, so it's not like I wanna see them suffer more. (I wish they had more attack options when it comes to PK). Unfortunately, all the few things they own, are way too OP.
@Symtex: Yeah, they can't life drain + 1 hit any other class beside Mages, but don't forget, all the other classes are physical attacking classes, where CA/Strike comes in.

1.make priest divine hungry
2.priest still can buff under pray,but unable to cast offensive spell,which doesn't take their JOB away,which most people emphasizes <support>
3.priest still deal damage with their ca/strike build
4.make these under-use rares (maybe not one even using it now)more useful ;s
