The chance to get a gemstone is 3/18 in those quest. And the time you need its much more .
Merchants are artisians, not monsters killers, should have a different quest to get gemstones.

What about something like "dismantling" skill for merchants to use on rares for a chance to get materials in return. In this case, gemstones, sards, materials (based on type of rare...skins for tailor, gems for armour etc.) and higher the grade of the rare, the bigger the rewards.

For dismantling a rare, first you have to make the rare, or find an useless rare. Perhaps it is a good suggestion to take some items from useless rares, but what kind of rare you should dismantle to get a gemstone?

G3= 25% chance to get gemstone
G4= 50% chance to get gemstone
G5= 100% chance to get gemstone

g5 = 22 Sards + 36 G1 .

Will be hard, can be done with big patience.

The good news is that all g1 will be usefull . You only have to waste 22 sards for 1 gemstone. Sounds hard but balance for me.

Would be a nice suggestion but i dun think i will agree to this.
1st: db rares make a big dmg on current HP stat( unless u increase the currect hp), otherwise thief/archer/wiz will die in a sec. Like: pepsi +poison + g5 force+desire/g5force+desire/g5force+evasion/g5force+ac...or other combination for thief/archer/priest

2nd: the reason db rares is tat rare is it makes the situation run to extream. Archer/wiz will die easier and thief/warrior/priest die harder.

so..tat's y gemstone supposed to be hard to get like the current situation, own opinions. o.o

Double rares are for players who want to risk their luck for fortune, G9 and G10 are for players who perfer solid farming and hard working. I think both cost about same efforts to make. If you dont like the "random" way of getting gem stones, why dont u just make G9 and G10 instead. Choices are there already.

Saddly this is MMORPG, they make the game the way u HAVE TO spent alot of time to play. The gambling system works the same way. Yes very few people in this server had double rares, cause they are the ones who spent most time/effort/money to play the game.

Desagree.

Those who have double rares, its because they pay for them. They didnt spent time/effort just money.

Im not saying to change the 50% of succes rate. What im saying its that the way that gemstones appears today, have no sense.
A job GM can make sards and items to G10.
A merchant should be abble to make the gemstones and the double rares.

The quest we propuse here , are balance with the items needed to make a g10, remember that merchant have 50% succes rate.

A GM propouse a dismantle skill, i propouse a hard quest, i think those ideas are better than hunting orcs for 4 hours/gemstone. Of course its just my opinion.
