Indeed, this issue pass and solved long time ago, however as you ask, i answer u here.
As i remember, i shared my account with 3 ppl at that time.
1. The real life friend, and he didn't play like half year already.
2. The game friend, however, he own character didn't got banned.
3. the game friend, his own character already go punish and in the list below!

Personally, i think he already got punish and if he take advantage in his character and my character (As GMPhanlanx post, my character didn't got advantage before), GM already take back the equal value.
The issue pass already, and i didn't share with him anymore!
BTW, give a chance to him, He and i are still friend.
