Hmm, if I understood correctly Colo. your main concern is not the fact that Archer will be able to drop the AC of their opponents (if this Skill ever will gets implemented) but the fact you won't have a way to avoid it?

The main problem I see its about that overpowered skill, ever single skill or spell have his way to be avoid or countered, why would give to archers a skill like that? the main problem for them is dieing so fast, Archer powers to kill people not in doubt. So why the hell gonna suggest to give them more attack power? it is balanced already. Archers always been like go kill and die, they are really useful at quest and wars because of their attack power.
Only thing I could agree on doing is to add skills as the way I suggested before, to make them pick between wich combat skills to use to try survive depends of situation, as warrior or thief does.

Archer where my main class since 0.69 to 1.1 then was main class at malay server 1.2/.3/.4 was the first archer dual Desperado (ac symbol) at Yllse. Played hacks to level my tactics at malay server only. Never used fast attack or anyelse to PK when it was my main class.
This does matter? as archer player I know my suggestions could be really usefull.

As an archer player from entire old int , malay and here i find your suggestions confusing... i agree the conception of using conjunctoning fire skills i have even suggested that before..but giving archer defence skill is making archer just thief with red cs effects.. what was your archer name in old int? I remember colomax or padrecolomax as noob priest.

Maybe you dont fully understand how ac works in this game... i will briefly run the numbers for you.
D4 priest with max 230ac 50k hp.
Archer/thief with 200tt and max force hitting tt pole roughly 23500 damage with normal hit. (we take this as base damage)

230 ac = 76,6% damage reduction - this means that 22,4% of 23500 will be dealt... that is around 5260 damage.
Archer hitting full ex is 8x5260 damage = 42112 damage ... heck , even d3 priest survives this without using sfd.

But suppose this priest has sfd :D as they usually have... this means 5260 damage will be decreased to mere 2900-3000 damage.
Maximum double ex does roughly 48000 damage ... it will be a bit lottery but it is perfectly possible for priest to survive double ex from max force archer double ex.

it takes alot more to hit full double ex than to press f1 for lifedrain+right click to opponent following with left click....
