character changing ideas

archer needs some changing cuz so far it's just a low ac thief--> giving archer extra damage would change that

the shield thing : it comes down to this that beside warrior clas, the other classes shouldnt be allowed to wear all the shields a warrior can wear. so my idea (and some other ppl aswell) comes down to putting a cap on the shield so that non-warrior classes can wear like 70parry shield max for example.

yeah bow is a 2 hand weap, can't use a bow with a shield, but then how is a bow suppose to add AC to a char.....just make archer armours more AC then other chars

If you give archers AC they will become thieves.
2 handed weapon (higher dmg. lower AC). 1 handed weapon (lower dmg. higher AC).

Perhaps that could be done just like grapple maybe?

reduce the number of posible shields for non war classes seems better to me.


call me crazy but what about simply removing the ac from shields and replacing it with another thing like physical eva or bonus to hp, make the bonus be based on the parry skill like: parring tactic lv x shield type.

something like that will end with uber def chars being able to tank everything and since the bonus is based on tactics thieves/wars will get bigger bonus compare to others without the need of removing them from other chars.
