='( Nation Transfer

Postby Karvinen » Sun Feb 06, 2011 2:07 pm

I was told to ask the other GMs why I couldn't get my nation xfer to vys approved and when I did I was very dissapointed

I set out in the Great Grassland Fields hunting for those gms, they are very sneaky like to hibernate when I'm awake and pillage through the lands when I am sleeping, but I finally contacted them! It was a long journey yes it was and I'll tell you the tale. It started when hunting down the Painter of the Signs he was stroking his brush up and down a sign when I found him and when I asked why I was declined the elder painter replied with "Ask my GM Team why we declined." And so it was, my mission had started. The next GM I managed to get a hold was with the happy-go-lucky GMTempest. He's so festival this guy wearing a Santa suite and all even if its summer. Silly guy. However the news he bore wasn't so jolly. He told me he didn't even get an input in this GM Discussion! I felt very sorry for him, for being over looked by his peers on the GM team, however this did not discourage me, not one bit I tell you. This next GM is very difficult to get a hold of. He likes to go missing for days at a time sometimes you think he got carried away by rival eskimos or a seal he was beating turned on beast mode and mauled him down, but I finally got a hold of him. GMNyx was out in Northern Wanen, down along the ice and water. I assumed he was hunting for his daily meal of seal when I found him. I sat around observing him in his natural habitat and when he was discouraged from only finding wild horse dogs and rhinos I took my opportunity. I approached GMNyx and asked him what his reason was for denying my application. Once again I was very disappointed with the results ='(. Apparently GMTempest wasn't the only one out of the loop. GMNyx too had no input on this matter! I was very discouraged at this point, almost giving up on my quest for a new life in new lands. However I had previously tried to contact GMSpherix through an Owl. Yes, I sent my good old trusty owl, Hedwig, to deliver my message to GMSpherix. Hedwig must have found Spherix, for he had returned with news! I opened the letter Hedwig had for me to find out what Spherix had said. This was the message contained:

"Any exceptions to that policy are for example when people want to transfer to the least populated nation, and/or are not that high in level. And since you don't meet any of those requirements and ontop of that act like an asshole in your town simply because you dont like it there, we don't plan on rewarding that kind of behaviour by transferring you"

After receiving this letter I quickly pulled out my quill and ink and began to quickly scribble down a response, hopefully before he moved on and no longer available for Headwig to find. I replied with the fact that Liz was transfered to Zyp from yllse and that Vyseus was indeed a lesser populated nation. Maybe once or twice a week they have 6-10 players show up in wars, other than that its like a ghost town! Zyp always has people joining war; they just don't know how to work as a team and come out with a win. And as everyone knows Yllse is like the zerg, hundreds of them everywhere flooding the lands! I ribbon tied my parchment and attached it to Headwig's legs and sent him off. Good news! Spherix was still nearby for he responded quickly. Joy! However, his reply wasn't so joyful, he had told me to include this in my ticket. However I had included this in my ticket, but as you see the GMs had not really gathered around the wood fire and conversed over this matter. Infact when I told him I had included this in my ticket he said sorry this is not a viable means of communication for Dragon Raja support and picked up his wand and zapped Headwig. He killed my poor innocent messenger owl! Can you believe that?!

My journey was over. I didn't bother seeking out the other GM's seeing how only 1 (2ish) were part of the actual decision making. For my ticket was denied without it even being read :'(.

Your ticket is still open and being dealt with. Asking GM's via non-official ways like MSN will never get you the answers you wait for, as it's not meant for giving support.

Oh and by the way, there are multiple GM's that decide on these matters, it's not just me. And most of all; nation transfers are still closed (with the exceptions here and there as you mentioned in your post).
