dude you really have no judgment at all since all your post answers were insulting ppl and attacking eleval is not even excluded.

one thing for sure about disable pk is no more d3 and d4 coming in and trying to get the tooth they already had. no more d3-d4 bullying d1s in their small quest abyss. no more only ZT guild gets legends, and also like i said not everyone like to pvp. but everyone like to get good rares lg for lvling. so disable pk in abyss and undead and leave big maze pk open (you can pk all the way you whant in big maze). that way you can still continue pk in quest and you dont stop us from evolving. if people whant to use those sardonyx to equip themselves instead of selling them to pay you??? its their right and you have none to say about it.
unless you whant to say to everyone how they should act.

stop insulting and start arguing.

one more thing there is more then enought reason to stop that pking in all the comments its just your blind and didnt read them. so stop complaining and start behave or like you always say to ppl if your not happy with it just leave.
and of course arabian arrow is willing to make deals and say yeah all have the rights to have fun that is more like it an exemple you should take and many ZT.
one thing like i said stay open pk big maze and close pk in d1s d2 quest.

Shayne wrote:All I see here is an abuse of the majority vote, with a lack of any good reasons as to why PK should be disabled in quest.

You say: "We want an equal chance to loot items such as legends and tooth/ lich eye/ dragon scale."
I say: Didn't GMs just open a nation transfer to make sure that the nations are balanced, and now all of you are saying that you can't defeat 1 guild with two entire nations. Like i said before, if that is the case, then the problem lies with the players, their lack of hardwork, and lack of teamwork. That's a clear fact that you can't argue against. Since you say that nations are equal, and there are many other D2, D3, and D4 outside of ZT with good rares and TTs to dominate ZT together. You have more than a 50% chance of winning quests, yet you don't. Why? I notice Eleval ignores this question in every post.

You say: "ZT is making me do this, ZT is making us not be able to do quest".
I say: ZT makes you do nothing. You are incredibly ignorant if that is your excuse. ZT doesn't make you lose, you lose on your own accord; your lack of skills, lack of communication, general lack of teamwork.

You say: "ZT is getting all the money, all the legends all the items and doing what they want with it."
I say: Wrong. You have no idea what the drop rate is on legends / items, and how low a chance it is that we get something. Even over all these months of winning quests, I only remember seeing 1 or 2 good legends, and maybe 1 lich eye and 1 balroc tooth. The chance is incredibly low, not to mention, that if we do get a legend, theres a chance that it will be a crappy effect or a very low grade. Even if you try to sell that on the market, people don't want it. There are lots of legends/ tooth / lich eye available on the market. You can gain RE apart from buying with real USD. Have some initiative. If you really wanted one of these items, there are other ways to get them, other than just sit on your ass and cry. I haven't spent a dime on this server, yet, I sold sards and other items to get the RE to even buy myself a cape. If I can do it, so can you.

You say: "Big maze is opening now".
I say: "Why did it take so long? What was the problem with it? Was it just laziness and lack of dedication as with the tickets? We as players would like to know. GMs don't inform us of anything. You might say that it is none of our business and give responses like I've seen here in this topic such as "Don't worry". I don't even see a community GM to inform us of anything or even to say "Hi, this is whats going on this month."

You say: "The majority of players voted + 1 and GMs care about what the players want so tough luck".
I say: That's another ignorant response. The majority of players are voting + 1 for poor reasons, and reasons that can be countered using less drastic changes. Have you considered these other suggestions to looting items provided by the people in this topic. It seems to me these people are very closed minded and one tracked. If I opened a poll on "Increasing the exp rate." and the majority of players voted Yes. Would GMs increase the exp rate? Majority is meaningless when the majority doesn't have a damn clue. You need essence and reasoning. I haven't seen a single person give a good reason to disable PK in dungeon.

I'm sure this post will go ignored and unanswered, and people like Eleval will probably respond to 2 - 3 points and ignore the 2 that are hard for them to reply to. Lol. Equal chance? You already have more than an equal chance. Infact, you probably have more of a chance than if all 3 nations were surrounding lets say a balroc, and only 1 tooth dropped, you'd now have a 1 in like 40 chance to get that. You might even go months without getting anything, then people will come on forums again and complain about the drop rate.

It most probably will cause you are completely right, but it's nearly impossible to motivate these people to do anything together properly, especially when you're someone unknown with a weak character. I very much like to fight back, but I simply get buttraped because I don't put enough time into the game ( the forum is easy to visit & discuss at on the other hand ). Can't achieve anything without proper teamwork anyways.

P.S: Toni you're still a neeb bia :phone:

I agree that if PK is disabled, there should be other PK ways/events that would bring as much fun as the PK in quest used to.

There was a bit of code in charge of the dragon/heart linkage and spawning, appearantly there were some mistakes in that code preventing monsters from spawning (because the coords were messed up). That has been traced back by testing and logging everything, which took a while.

I don't even see a community GM to inform us of anything or even to say "Hi, this is whats going on this month."

I'm ingame every other day now, visiting all capitals to hear what's up. Everyone mainly asks about tickets, so that's the next thing we're trying to 'fix'.

And about ingame politics, pking and such ; im not an actual player nor dealt with the dungeons, so I'm neutral on this one.

Now, back ontopic about the pking please.

Hmm I've read through the entire topic and as said above, I do not participate in the game nor the quests, but I think I might have something that is workable for all sides.

A 1:3 ratio for pk off/on.

Meaning, 1 week the PK will be off; the following 3 weeks after that, PK is on.

That would mean that players who do not like pk, put less effort in it or are simply 'lazy' still get a chance to fight and loot the boss.

The players that put more effort in it, work together (like ZT seems to do reading trough this topic) get a better chance to loot the items. Their hard work is worth it, since they have (depending on the competition) 3 weeks to do what they want in the quests, and one week where all chances are equal.

in my opinion, that should be doable; no?

Furthermore since it seems that nowadays the only PK confrontation can be found in the quests according to ZT; Go out and play the war more. If you don't join, others wont either since there's nobody to play against. War is really all about pking; so join that as well.

We're also (slowly) redoing the code of the website, arena ranking should play a greater role in that, as well combined with the achievements. (which will also be updated so they actually work and can be viewed).

With a global ranking with perhaps some form of reward, that should make battles in the arena(s) alot more interesting.

Comments welcome.

dr = pvp game

youve decided that???
no dr is a community game war is pk indeed but no dr is not a pk game everywhere everyday every seconds, you guys decided it. its the first server that i see pk in quest so your tottaly wrong about dr is pk game.

sorry for you but its a vote poll so your opinion is -1 good for you but lets see what will happen at the end of the vote.

there is no if your not happy just leave thing its a vote poll.

id say same thing to you if vote goes on yes to disable the pk.

another thing we could do is making a pking range lv less then 15 lv cant pk
so lv 100 cant be pked by lv 116
lv 105 cant by 120

etc...
