it's achievement. do you really not know it's use? IMO it was a great add to the game and when they got ingame stuff for that will be cool.

it's a self achievement. but it's not what a mmorpg needs. get what I mean?
it's not necessary to achieve those. which makes it more useless.
GM has to find a way to force them to accomplish the achievements.

achievements are meant to be forced to accomplish.

I disagree. WoW has tons of achievements with only very few ones that rewards items. They don't force anyone to get them but tons of people do them cause it's fun to achieve something especially after you accomplished all the end-game things and comparing it with other ppl and what they accomplished is fun

It's funny when you people keep on comparing these DR and WOW.

you have mistaken me. please don't be over-exaggerating.
what could force players to accomplish the achievement?

"REWARDS IMO"..

please think before you speak '-_-

right now this is "self achievement". please make achievements more like a mmorpg.
we don't want to see people doing emo lvling..

On the contrary maybe you should think ;) You already said "This is not what a mmorpg needs" you've gone and assumed no mmorpg needs this. WoW is a mmorpg and the most popular at that yet they have it. I merely counter your claim that MMORPG does not need self achievements with a famous MMORPG that HAS IT and it works.

Not everything needs to be forced. People always seem to forget that we play games to have fun. Of course, fun means different things for different people. There are people out there who think collecting achievements is fun. It might not be your piece of cake, but it is for others. We already have tons of "forced" stuff out there for people like you. It's time we give some love to the collectors (Y)
