its more efficient to ss the priest and let warrior splash, just because of the huge buff to splash dmg warriors recieved


That is true, if I have a SS tank for my warrior he blasts faster than 5 tile lightning, but it's still sometimes needed to SS party members ^o^

not always true. If there's only 1 priest in the party, it's better to ss the warrior because if the party doesn't damage to kill the mobs before ss runs out, the warrior will die and the priest won't and will be able to res. If the priest dies, the party needs to wait for the priest to run back to town to res. It might be a bit slower but it's safer.

Plus now that you can only cast miracle of recovery on yourself, priests will burn through more pots while tanking under ss. Usually the priest will load ss, run and round up the mobs, then right click on himself while the mobs walk to him to get the most time out of ss. Meanwhile there's a high change he'll get hit a few times in the process. Before, the priest tank would just use miracle of recovery on a nearby party member and get healed as well while under ss. Now that recovery is self-cast, the priest under ss can't cast on himself so he must use a pot in order to heal or risk dying if ss goes out and he won't be at full hp.

I never afk level, so my viewpoints are innocent in that department. I still think ss should be castable on party members :)

not if you're a priest with a WIS/PS build and 5K hp or 10K hp tanking mino's.

The Dual Shield only for warriors thing was discussed a lot with players before puting it...
