That's the ToS.

Funny thing is, it's called the "in-game rules" and the only place that mentions "ToS" is that one line at the bottom.

GMNyx wrote:You agreed to our ToS when you created your account and started to use our free service. Why on earth do people think theres no contract formed with DRG and the player is beyond me.

Good luck suing us

since the topic there is locked, I'll reply from here.

this is a failure.
I don't think they know how important is ToS.
yeah you put the ToS for us to "READ". yea, I've read it, but where to "AGREE" it.
that's why I said we've never agree to any contract/agreements from DRG.
only forum accounts have ToS when we are creating it.

It doesn't have to be in the game if it's on the website or somewhere where new players can easily see it then it's you who are at fault. Read my example the law guy said. If you KNOW there is one and don't read it then its not the company's fault. What's with people and all this kiddish loop hole shit.

I'm surprised. so this is the DRG official website http://forum.dragonraja.eu/
not this http://www.dr-int.com/. put the ToS in a separated website is invalid.
plus they have no prove that we've read it. right?

Cupid do you have a law degree? no disrespect but we actually confirmed this before we opened the server

ToS is located in the same IP & server computer btw. It can also be requested by email and phone call. Paper copy can be faxed as well. Usually you find out what you agree upon and whats expected of you, before installing and using a free service. Just common sense since nothing is truly free in this world

See what jarlaxes friend wrote and think about it again :)

The old terms of service was in the download manager. Perhaps you can add it to the new one that way monday after next update everyone will have to agree or quit cause they wont be able to click start without agreeing(unless they have thier own client) Secondly you dont have to sign up for the forums even though they are hosted on the same ip so i dout that even matters. If the same IP adress hosted 15 different games all with different ToS and you agree to the one your playing but not the rest you aren't bound to the rest.

Thirdly and final on this matter. players here know already that all they work for on a Dragon Raja server will be sooner or later deleted we know this cause its happened how many times? In my opinion this is last low exp server ill play(unless official new version comes out which isn't going to happen)

Done seen to many rares and my hard work destroyed to many times. I paid on .my not only for my two account but a couple freinds occasionaly now all gone. didnt pay on another server till this on(which is way more expensive IMO). I hope it last a couple years at least. I really do.Truthfully if i agree to something i want the gms to garenttee something as well. what is the GM's gaurentees? We all know the standard ToS. if this program fubars your pcit ain't my fault for programming it poorly. Thats not the type im looking for. Im lookingfor hey we willattempt to do this for X amount of years devoting X numbers of hours per week to improvments. Now I know that you could just fill it in and it wouldn't really mean anything. We all also know circumstances in the world may change. Electrcity could become so high only the few elites and large companies could afford it, but with current situation you could esitmate a guarentee. Many people have paid you well and if you manage your money good how long would it last. How long would it last if people didnt donate another penney? sorry for rambling.

The burden to read (same as burden of proof) is on the customer side, not the company to make sure the other side reads it. Feigning ignorance is not an excuse nor will it work, see Jarlaxle's post. It is your responsibility as a player to read the ToS and in-game rules before playing a game, just like it is your burden to make sure you understand something before you sign it or make a contract with someone.

To be clear; www.dr-int.com is an alternative URL for reaching www.dragonraja.eu and it's contents. The forum is on the same location as the website, thus not on separate website. The forum is part of the website.

It's the company's responsibility to provide easy access to such rules though so you can't blame players for not reading/knowing about the ToS. Nowhere does it mention a ToS or any rules at all on the main game website and it's very possible to play DR without a forum account. It's like using the point 1 font at the bottom of the page :/

Anyways this should be solved if you either include a link of the ToS to the account registration side (which you said you would do) or at least put a link from the main website so topic can be locked.
