The team has heard you loud and clear about your concerns. And I will make sure they continue to do so without the community having to climb a mountain! I will be the terrorizing demon to the GM team and a clown in the community. You should see GMSignPainter hiding whenever I appear!

My first task as the community GM is to set up rules and procedures so that the GM team can better communicate with our community. We realize hiring a community GM is only the first step in an otherwise long journey to better communication between the community and the team. I can only promise you I will work hard to the best of my abilities.

Please feel free to ask me questions (Y)

It seems that in the end, you're just another forum mod '-_-

Your conjecture is based off of? There are a lot of behind the scenes stuff I do and I try to log in game to answer questions. And a forum mod merely polices the forums, I also interact with people. I would like to think I have done my best to answer questions and PMs that people have sent to me. I am being defensive, I'll admit that, but I would like for you to elaborate instead of throwing out cynical statements without offering constructive criticisms for me to work upon.

You have failed to achieve what you have promised. The GM team is getting less and less responsive. First month of server, they would reply to almost every topic, throw out ideas, and make player polls. Now bugs are barely getting fixed even though they've been reported for weeks. Some bugs don't even get a GM reply/acknowledgement anymore. We are also getting less and less updates. Maybe there's less going on, but I'm sure there's still some news to be spoken of. DR-Int had a monthly newsletter, maybe that's something you can look into?

I'm saying that you're merely a forum mod because that's all that you've done it seems. You go around the forum warning people, "cleaning" up the forums, and telling people to stop with the flame wars yet important topics in suggestions, bugs report, and general chat remain unanswered/acknowledged.

GMSB is doing his job to the best of his ability - ease off the throttle.

I have only been on the team for a month. I would accept your criticisms if I haven't tried to carry out my promises, but the matter of fact is there are things going on behind the scenes that you do not see. I was the driving force behind consolidating and getting anthem bug compensation. I was the one who consolidated all the job quest bugs in an excel and gave it to GMSP to better organize stuff. Those are a few of the things I have been doing. And how are bugs not getting fixed my responsibility? I am the community GM who has no technical knowledge to fix anything. I'll admit it is my duty to acknowledge bugs and I'll start working on that. And just because it's not public does not mean I am merely doing forum mod stuff. You of all people should know how things go behind the scenes.

If you wanted to sincerely throw out constructive criticisms, you would have PMed me about it or came out straight with what you said. Instead, you throw out a sarcastic, pseudo-witty remark about how I'm merely a forum mod. And if you want an update on all suggestions, we are in the process of fixing what we have currently. The more features we add without fixing previous stuff, the more of a mess everything becomes. We have our priorities and we simply do not have any idea whether or not we will implement or think about a suggestion or not. Half the suggestions are not workable and the other half is up in the air. But as I have indicated in your other thread, I will start going around acknowledging whether or not a suggestion is workable or not at the very least. How hard is it to simply point it out like that instead of throwing sarcastic remarks? If you had just come out with that, I would have been grateful. I am not against constructive criticisms. And part of being a community GM is also overseeing the tone and language of everyone. It is my personal goal to see the community become less toxic, so yes, I'll embrace the forum mod role as well.

btw LP, if u'd play more u'd see that GMSB does come online a lot to answer questions and stuff... u're just basing ur criticism on the stuff u only see instead of checking around with other players before jumping to conclusions (cuz that would be getting real proof)

PS : a monthly newsletter made by gm's is just lame tbh... noone would read a newspaper if for example obama could be the only one deciding what's in it... it woulnt be worth reading... i dont know about the rest but on previous servers it wasnt worth reading the newsletters (even if they did came out in time) cuz it was to boring and from a gm point of view. it would be hell of a lot more fun if we'd be able to read about stuff that's going on ingame (and just a small topic from gm's with latest fixes)

@Tensu: Players were encouraged to submit articles for previous newsletters but in the end no one submitted anything except screenshots.

@GMSB: GMNyx used to go through the suggestions forum and tell us if something is not workable and the reason why. Now what do we get? A "witty" quote by GMSpherix of "not gonna happen". I don't expect you to get everything done overnight but I DO expect you to keep up the standards of when you first joined the team.

I cleaned up the thread of ego stroking and bashings again.
