Star Crest Quest Bug Question

Star Crest Quest Bug Question

What will be this server's policy about the star crest? In what situations will the yeti bones be returned to the player if the quest is failed? Some possible situations that can cause the player to fail the quest

1. death (by monster or other player doing the quest)
2. bugged timer (players are booted from the room before the time limit is up)
3. bugged counter (killing monsters doesn't make kill count go up or counter never appears)
4. game/client crash (player did not exit the game, the client just terminates with no warning)
5. disconnection (loss of internet connection/connection with the server)
6. Styx bugged (Styx does not show up in the boss room within the 20 minutes)
7. Server/map crash (the sermy's dungeon map crashes or is down server-side)
8. talking to the knight without the bone of oblivion in the bag after killing Styx (will result in a G2 hamburger to be given)
9. bugged portal (going through a portal doesn't take the player to the next floor)


For any of the situations where players will be allowed to get their yeti bones back, what proof must be shown in order to report it? How should players report it? Should players not attempt the quest again until getting the quest fixed?

there's some1 claiming to be booted out of the room before his timer said his time was up (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2937)

8. could you possibly change the NPC so that he doesn't terminate the quest if you talk to him against after killing styx but without the bone of oblivion in the bag? It would save some players the problem of running into the problem.
9. sometimes the portals need to be entered in a certain direction or at a certain angle. This is something that new players generally don't know and end up logging out when they can't go into the portal right away.

#4 : I personally think that they should get return, if the client crashed itself!~ because it is the server crashed

but on the other hand, the problem wasnt caused by the server

certain crashes can be cause by the server and/or missing/corrupt files (such as not getting the most up to date patch). I don't know how DRG does it but on NR, their antihack would automatically crash the client even on a false positive (lag).

Also sometimes I lag when big monsters show up on my screen (such as styx) and I end up crashing that way.
