LG changed sprites to level fast. You of all people know how big of a difference it makes when you use 5 tile on a group of etins versus monsters with the size of a succubus. There is no comparison between swapping monster files so that you can level fast with 5 tile versus deleting ice storm. And to be quite honest, I liked my idea of perma banning them, but I got overruled/convinced by the other GMs about the severity of their actions.

You shouldn't even be telling the players this. This promotes division within the players and staff and is unprofessional.

Like I said, he was banned for multiple reasons, not just one. The CNs were banned for ONE.

First, there was suspicion that he was leveling with edited sprites. Of course the anti-hack is commonly mistaken so we have to confirm it before any action is taken. Psipress checked LG and found that he was indeed hitting unusually high. Afterwards, I checked just to make sure. We watched him for a period of time seeing that his 5 tile spell was hitting 7 times on average and up to even 12. At this time, Psipress asked him to take a SS to prove his innocence, it took him 15~ minutes to send a SS, the SS didn't help at all as it was from a different time period. After this 15 minute period, his 5 tile started 4-5 times average, rarely going over 5. Of course the situation had many red flags, we weren't going to leave it as it is.

A day later, Psipress watched him again and again found his 5 tile unusual. He was yet again asked to take an SS, instead he moved away from the monsters and sent it. We know his history, we fully well know he knows what sprite hack is. Yet he has tried avoiding this twice now.


Second, his casting speed was another unusual thing. For his build (knife stats), he casts almost instantly for many spells leading us to believe he is using yet again another hack. Of course we weren't going to ban on this alone, however it confirmed our suspicions when his casting speed went down exponentially (around 400% slower) after one of the periods above.

Third, we have also reports that he has been using speed hack to increase his movement speed, 2 GM witnessing it at one of the periods above (Both different occasions), and also additional logs.

You act like either you're a member of staff or have bought stock in this "company".

I'm not important. I am pointing at how some people are acting in an abrupt manor that some people construe it as rudeness. I just want the staff to act like a company and quit catering to whining players. In wow, In NR, they didn't give the whole player base reasons on why someone got banned. They just got banned. The player then had to call or email support to deal with it. If they went to the forum and spam the bullshit that some of the people do they got banned. I understand allowances have to be made because of the small player base but when you advertise I will be glad when the staff will not cater to such a whiny player base.
