Daily Quest Improvement - Reset Unfinished Quests

With many bugged quests, quest too hard, or quests not worth completing over others. Making it hard for us to raise our job levels.

I propose they change it so all quests reset and randomize at midnight.

Example: You are asked to kill 20 Stone Golems, you are just level 20.
You can just skip it and wait till midnight to get a new quest from that NPC.


Example: You are doing a quest, you are asked to craft an item.
The quest is bugged and NPC wont accept said item. You can just wait till midnight for a new quest that will hopefully work this time.


This will allow people like me who are trapped in bugged quest to actually level their skills.


Currently, the way it works is.
If you talk to a quest NPC and he/she requires you to do a quest that cannot be completed (bugged or too hard) you will never get a new quest from that NPC ever again till you complete what was given to you.
Making those [3/4] levels a day to [2/3] levels a day. Maybe even less to zero.

Poorly designed system with not enough time to test it properly, id say...
You gave a great point and reinforced my opinion about the new system: It is retarded.

I agree. Quests should get a reset if they haven't been completed that day.

There wont be quest reset for "too hard" quests but 'bugged' quests possibly yes. Otherwise people will farm new characters that are low level and wait for easy quests to achieve items and levels. The scripting system is getting an overhaul currently and that should solve most problems with job quests. There will be some nice new suprises for questing system (includes non-job quests) in upcoming patches

Should atleast reset the sardonix' quests each day imo. Feels like such a huge waste having to trade 15 diamonds for one sard since it takes like 3 days to farm them if you're lucky.

+ 1 some sard quests for certain jobs are much more difficult than other jobs.
The new system is clearly NOT thought out well and was not given enough time to tweak out all the bugs or to test the efficiency or equity of the new system. Just because the new system is poorly done does not mean we want to go back to the old days with NO improvements. We WANT improvements, but fully functional improvements that actually IMPROVE gameplay, not just CHANGE it. :scis:
