X-fire is an excellent program and it doesn't use almost any resources unless you're recording a video/broadcasting/uploading with it.

Only one game will have time played counted, the one x-fire is currently hooked onto.

Yes it will detect it fine as long as you have x-fire installed on your computer and can run the game
