Or mail box full, maybe they need to do a function to clear last read messages or delete after x days messages in trash.

No, we can obviously put in a non macro check. Ask a simple question or repeat a sentence. We've already encountered a few people who use a macro to make it appear they're not afk.

As for mail being full, that would be the purpose of LP's suggestion. The final check before the kick. I'd also accept a whisper. Anything that proves you are not AFK is fine.


As for leeching AFK being against the rules, it's because as someone said there is no effort. DR, unlike, other games you must be within a vicinity of a player to receive EXP, the purpose of that is so you won't AFK. The line system negates this and provides you the opportunity to AFK without gaining exp. Further, it would be hard to judge some instances such as a person who is just healing or tanking (they are leeching but not blasting, we'd have to put them in the same shoes as the leecher).

RCs' do not receive whisper while they're in ghost mode because they're considered "dead".

I believe that GM mail is like guild mail where it goes into your inbox even if it's full.

The trade off of line leveling is that it requires the party to stay near the edge of the pit and not get as big of a pull as a party who doesn't line level and have the tank sit in the middle of the pit. I guess to some players, this trade off should allow for afk leveling. exp from line AFK leveling for longer = exp from non-line level for shorter time.

But you will do this check in multiple language ? Many ppl dont understand English and it's a global server...just wondering.

even if they dont fully understand they wont stay there quiet they will try to talk something i guess and so proving they are not afk..

but if you need to ask something anyone can understand pop near someone and ask: 1+1=?

i bet if u spawn next to junior that he cant answer 2... not everyone is as gifted as the normal ppl
