About double xp in Yilse

Dear GMs, its a bit wrong

Dear Players,

We will reboot the server today 09/04/2010 at 17:00:00 ServerTime to fix a little bug that has to be fixed.
Also, we will close access to Yllse maps for other nations for 4 hours after the reboot because we will give exp x2 for 4 hours in all Yllses maps due to the long crash of Barantan last night.

17hrs + 4hrs = 21PM, server was off more than this time and also, server didnt crashed at 17PM, it crashed about 20pm so...ppl what lose the time for living will still lose it because they are working / studing / etc etc etc....

Beter you do it in same time what the map crashed or it will be injust again !

Here is the first report that barantan went down. That was right around 18:00 server time, which is why we set the 2x experience for 18:00-22:00.

I do understand your point, but yesterday is yesterday. What about the people that couldn't play yesterday and still can't play today because of school,work,study,ect.? Do we wait for them too?

We compensated the best we could without going overboard. What about the people that were still leveling when barantan was down, such as in light dungeon? Do we tell them they can't play with the double experience today because they didn't lose any time yesterday?

Like I said in the other topic, there will always be unhappy players and its something that will never change. We try our best to make players happy for any downtime.

week day, monday till friday, ppl work, study in SAME TIME every week day.

You can check who did a recent logout in baratan and help only this ppl, you can do it... You can do a best job, but, is easier just "we will give 4hrs for all", why dont check who did a recent logout in baratan, give enought RE for 8hrs and let them choose when they will use it, better right ?

Sometimes im confuse if we are really playing a official server from a professional company or just another PRIVATE and irresponsability server whit old players GMing just for FUN

Why ? its another private ? if is, really sorry, you are doing it better than past server, private server, but we are talking about a OFICIAL SERVER, so, I CAN SAY ANYTHING if i think its wrong, its a Company and by law we can have our rights once they are give a service, free or no.

Anyway, next time we will evaluate giving double experience a little better. Just remember, this is a free to play game, not a pay to play game. Compensation is not 100%. We have that right.

The best solution, is to learn from your mistakes and not let it happen again, which is why now all GMs have access to restart a map if it crashes. Every company has problems.
