Gemstone Drop Rate

Maybe I just got really lucky but the gemstone drop rate seems extremely high. I've seen 4 Vyseus gemstones drop in the past 2 days (leveling about 3 hours in wd a day so 4 gemstones in 6 hours). Is this the same way in Yllse and Zypern? I thought that gemstones were supposed to be rarer.

How is this complaining? I'm asking a question about the drop rate. Drop rate is random, as I'm sure you're aware. It looked like a lot of people have gotten gemstones so far which seemed to be rarer in the past. I was just wondering if the drop rate has been increased or because more people are lvling at places it dropped or I've just had good luck.

who drops them and what is it for?
