yea, dagger here acts as a ranged weapon but bow here acts as a close range weapon. so what I mean it's the other way around. archer gets the dmg boost form it's weapon nor the archery level (I forgot). so it has nothing to do with knife.

i hope u do realise that u're just making archers able to be thief like this. u're giving them the chance of going thief (skills wise) with the chance of getting the symbols of archer... why not just remove archer class when u're busy making suggestions like this...

PS: the only thing that is broken is the fleet missile

PS 2: archer doesnt need to be a thief cuz then u might aswell just go thief. i know their advantage of archer, but it seems logical to me. BTW archer has the nicest advantage over thief now, their high dmg is more fun to play with then sitting bk and and hoping u can tank the dmg.


so your conclusion is "be fast otherwise don't play archer?"
I know you're Pro. but please, no one is as skilled as you. some people love archer but they are slow. so they just leave archer and picked other classes that they could handle. take Balzak as an example.

why not just remove the weapon "staff" when priest and wizard hardly use them?

do realize if archer was added on the ice skill tree. he can't use dual nor legend knife which is a big difference from thief. according to your "PS 2" why'd you said that "if archer has thief skill. they might aswell go thief"? I assume that it's because you're thinking thief is better to choose? yea?

well adding archer to the ice skill tree makes no harm to the game. it only makes the class "archer" more interesting to play.

you people always said archer suppose to be a full attacker/blaster class. well add archer to the ice tree makes that. don't you think?

that's a lot of personal attacks comming from 1 posts ...
1) bow is the weapon with the biggest range (it's a lot bigger then knife) and dagger is the lowest lvl sword btw
2) i never said i was pro but u can ask one1 who knows how think think in pure logics like i exkplained in the post, archer is a class where u need to kill before u get killed...
3) the "why not just remove staff" thing is realy going to the wrong adress seeing that i'm one of the few mages who wanted the shields removed from priests and wizards again and hv the wear staff as main weapong again...

I don't want to be rude Blindkiller but it seems to me you dont understand any of the classes fully or the complete concept of the game. Almost everything you suggest has HUGE holes in it and will not hold water in a active game. I really cant point out everything but i'll just point out one thing for you.

1. Archers are infact a kill or be killed class. You have low defence and high attack. So you run in hit and get out. Your solution to this is make it where he has defence aswell? So wait if a class has a weakness that DIRECTLY balances out the class you want to fix it? Well then why dont we make life drain kill with out needing a death blow. And make the mages Firebird fallow the target, So if they cast it you run away it will fallow you till it hits you. O and give the warrior the ability to hit a target with his mind as long as the target is in his screen.

Come on now dont you think these balances were thought out befor the game was even made? If they wanted the archer to be a tank they would have made it that way or taken out theif all together.

Can we just let this damn topic die already none of this is going to make it in game.

Edit: And for the guy you say isnt skilled enough to play archer. I suggest he starts with a easier class or learns to hit and run. Really archer is easier to use then theif. You run up and just keep multi hitting till the guy is dead. Theif has to be creative.

I disagree on thief being hard to play.

They use to ex so slow it become so easy to double ex. Also, archer require alot more game knowledge and they also require to read ur oppenant. You have to learn how does your oppenant fight to know how to attack them, wich is alot less the case with thief. Every spell can kill an archer, so you need to be on a good position to fight the spell that is going to attack you.
