the balance IS the most important thing to raja.

lets face it graphics 5/10
questing 4/10
the grind a decent 7/10
the pvp and balance 12/10....yea its beyond even 11

i have stopped playing so many games becaus ehtere is all ways 1 or 2 chars that are totally overpowered and the pvp systems are pretty shite. i know thats why i come back to raja everytime and i think a lot of people feel the same. in this game no 1 class is OP anyone can kill anyone if they are skilled and make a good build.

i know these ratings are my own opinion but i dont think they are unfair (Y)

5/10
5/10 the quests arent great but some are epic and hard
8/10
10/10

Despite all these nerf and buff posts i have always thought the games pvp was very balanced. The only thing i ever thought was outa balance was Archers. Now that they are being taken care of i'm completely happy.

Only time i ever suggest a buff for a class is because someone else is trying to buff up a different class. If you change 1 your going to have to change them all.

yeah sum quests are epic and hard, but most are utterly pointless and boring. allthough it looks like the GM's have noticed this and are changing e.g. questing for jobs which i think will vastly improve the game in that department

D1 I could learn Ice Blast
D2 I could learn Critical Hiding
D3 I could learn Horn of Iceberg
D4 I could learn Extreme Ice

What if a priest duals thief 4 times? Then the priest could use all his protection spells on top of the thief's blasting abilities which would make certain combination OP.

To true. You need to always keep in mind the balance of the game. Before suggesting something that may throw that off. The balance is so important to raja, maybe even more so then other games.

this is only a discussion not a suggestion.

you'll get higher lvl skill when you continue dualing the same class.
as in I dual thief in D1 so I'll get all low lvl skill that a thief could use (ex: Ice Blast).
when I dual warrior in D2 I'll get all low lvl skill that a warrior could use (ex: Lightning Boom)
dual thief in D3 I'll get a skill lvl higher then ice blast. and so on.

you can't cast and use skill at the same time and there's limitations on distributing abilities. I don't think there will be anything unbalance.

only one class that will change is archer. which I think makes it more balanced

but then no one would dual priest/wiz bcause you can cast spells already. It would be more beneficial to get another class's kill. Also dualing your own class wouldn't be as beneficial because you can already learn all the spells/skills for your class.

dual class system seems more then fine to me already... "what isnt broken doesnt need fixing"

btw, about the dual system, it's goes like this :
stats :
dualing warrior gives u a lot of STR and CON wich are the main stats for a warrior
dualing archer gives u a lot of dex and some movp wich again are main stats for archer
dualing thief gives u a lot of Movp and some dex wich (yes again) are the main stats for thief
same for wiz (INT and WS) and Priest (WIS and PS)

but also ur dual symbole is bound a lot towards the dual u choose (it's dependant of the first class u dual) :
dualing warrior, warriors are natural tankers therefor all warrior duals get the AC bonus
dualing archer gives (atleast for thief and archers) the extra force wich are normal cuz archer are supposed to be the physical dmg dealers
dualing priest would give u the extra priest abilities in ur symbole wich is resist for most of the classes (wise and natural vigor for priest dualing priest)
same for alll the other symbols, it's more class related then it seems at first sight

because that would change the whole balance of the game and pvp style to a ridiculouse lvl. can u imagine a archer that could multi arrow close and shark missile from a distance??? or a warrior that could LD sum one.

Archers can use shark missile already.

BlindKiller wrote:I only know dual class gets a bonus of 100 abilities and dual symbol.
neither then that, does it mean that I could use the other skills too?
let's say I'm a archer and I dual thief. does it mean I could use all the ice skill tree or some limited thief skills?
Example:
D1 I could learn Ice Blast
D2 I could learn Critical Hiding
D3 I could learn Horn of Iceberg
D4 I could learn Extreme Ice

no

well as I know, no one duels priest and wiz in this present day. only priest and wiz theirselfs.

ofcuz it wouldn't be as beneficial.. dualing the same glass is more like an upgrade.
it's like your a bread and you dual bread.. you're still a bread.. but if you dual peanut butter.
your a peanut butter sandwich.

well I think I'm expecting too much on an old classic game.
at least my gaming experience on dual class does not work like this.
maybe this is how DR works, well then I think I could stay in the flow.
