Archer legends.

Okay that is also true, I guess distance isnt such a waste of a stat its a little different/extra bonus without being stupidOP with pure force on everything.

1. why do you assume everyone will go with the force symbol.
2. that little essay you wrote about getting rares is a useless argument.
3. archers need the force boost because this game is already biased towards defence builds (max ac > max damage) ie priest using shields with sfd, noob thieves using sfd and ice shield bug, high ac warriors. thus, archers being the supposedly hardest hitting class with low ac should be able to kill these players for game balance. distance is useless against these types of builds.
4. you realize wizards have legends that increase magic vigour + symbol and warriors have force in their legends?
5. distance is suited more for thief and not archers because thief critical hiding benefits more damage increase from distance compared to archer defence drop. As well, thief multi can be used for distance damage where as archers multi cannot. However, both classes can use shark missle though I believe archers should not be dependent on shark missle to benefit distance damage as the ice tree is mainly for thief.
6. thief should not have force as they are mainly a speed defence class and already have advantages over archers.
7. ideally, my goal is to have more players play with archers as there is a CLEAR imbalance between archers and thiefs.

But does this mean... if they change the legend effect to force for archers, GMs won't increase their base damage? :?

the ratio between attack damage and defence needs to be taken into account before adjusting the base damage. i can't test that so i'll leave it to the gm's.

:trade: very good, i just wanted to see if you had reasons also, as you didnt post any on the first topic :twisted:

my true stand on this suggestion is either way is fine, if they change it great, if they dont then whatever we can live
