Are there level caps?

Postby PhantomPolluX » Thu Mar 18, 2010 5:03 pm

I haven't played long enough to know about any level caps. Like is there a max level to go to, or does it not stop as far as a level number? Like going to level 1000 with your toon. I seriously doubt I could make it to level 1000, but I was just wondering that if you do make it to a certain level, is there a reason to keep playing? (If anyone gets my meaning.)
Like think of it in terms of World of WarCraft, there's a level cap at level 80, then you're just running around helping other questers and enchanting items or just solo'ing and playing for fun.
I just think there shouldn't be a level cap depending on if there is an expected time for the server to reset, like every 6 months to a year, then there should be no level cap.But if it goes every quarterly-year, then yea, a level cap should be in place, otherwise I don't think there should be.

there's a lvl cap at 150, but no worry, it takes quit some time to reach it... (a couple of years) but when ppl are getting close to the lvl cap, we might be able to peruase the gm's to get a higher lvl with newer benefits

So it's basically expected that quite a few will make it to at least 100 anyway, given that they really want to show off there ability to give up bathroom privileges and eating and drinking enough to survive and zombifying themselves to the game. I wouldn't only do it to prove to myself I'm a clicker and a game freak, but MEH!! why do it?!! lol

So how long is the next round expected to be running? I'd like to know b/c me and my g/f inted to play this next round and find a suitable class and toon to party and go MOB'ing like crazy trying to gain as many levels as possible. Which that goes without saying anything about skilling up. I personally enjoy the Mage's. Very useful when attaching from afar, like archers, but lack the health when solo'ing and being a beginner like I am.

Alright, that's a bummer to wait so long. I'm ready to play and so is she. Her and I are RPG players and since I'm not a total n00b to DR, then I'll be able to teach her the basics when I get her on it for the first time. Yes, she's totally new to DR. She had a few issues in installing the server package. But after restarting her Acer laptop, it stopped the install issue, but was still slow in installing. I thought maybe it was an issue with the installer package. But re-thought it and assumed that it's her Acer being a pain.

Yea. I would explain the essential thrill I would get out of it. But I think common sense should kick in on that one. Spending time with your intended S.O. playing games is a good way to keep from burning yourself out doing other 'robust' activities.
