Tensu wrote:i think this idea is getting more stupid every time there is some1 trying to defend it... so far only Pepex made a decent enough argument for me to maybe vote yes. whats the problem with "1 guild controling 1 nation"... if it's realy a problem btw, them being scattered in smaller guilds wont solve anything about this cuz like shayne already stated in another topic, everyone of the originally same guild is going to be in the same nation, so if they wanne pk together, they can still pk together...

u also say, "changes are important" i do agree changes are important, but what isnt broken doesnt need fixing... there's nothing wrong with big guilds except if u think friends over an mmo chatting together is wrong...

all i can conclude from these posts so far is that players are scared that ZT is going to be to big... i hv a news flash for u guys then, ZT isnt going to be the biggest guild. ZT isnt going to add random players for the sake of just getting bigger.

I gota say i agree with you on most of what you said. Other then the fact that it wouldnt be the same thing if theres a bunch of little guilds compared to 1 big guild.

Also would like to say that what grofire said is almost exactly what pepex said. And it does seem people are a bit scared of the past or at least aware and conscious.

But my personal opinions arent based on ZT matter of a fact i like over half of ZT's members. So its not like i'm out to get them or terrified they are out to get me. I just would like to see more depth in the guild system here. Maken it so the guilds have to level up to get more members. Would be something to earn and be proud about. Thats just my thoughts tho.

if u want guildmembers to work together more, LP made a nice suggestion in the past where u had to "build" ur guild emporie and get bigger guild warehouses by doing stuff... realy old suggestion, but it's one i liked a lot

that won't make the guild smaller only larger, y should pay a fee just by being in a guild not only for getting an empria or exspending it

1 main small guild + 5 small academy/sistem/sub guilds = 1 big guild. Same people. Same relationships. Same allies/ememies. Same loyalties. Different title/name. A label doesn't define a person's actions. Forcing them to have another guild title/logo doesn't change anything about the people. It's only the outward appearance that changes.

On the other hand, IF certain guild privileges were given to top "ranking" guilds then this might be a good idea. For example, if my idea about giving guilds with the big emporias a "gate keeper2" NPC, then this would be a good idea to limit the ammount of people from a guild that can take advantage of the NPC. It would mean that the guild needs to be more selective as to who they let in and who gets the best privileges from being in the guild. Essentially it forces guilds to become tighter communities instead of a large guild with a strong core and random people on the outside that make the guild look big.

There is no need for it right NOW because it doesn't do anything except limit the number of people that can use 1 emporia at a time. Plus there is no consequence in quitting/joining guilds in DR. What's to stop me from kicking out people not online, adding people online, then kicking again when they go off so I always have a big online guild?
