all is never fair in love or war... thats just a quote that is too screwed up to be actually applied.

I didn't want to comment on this because I don't know much about wars but this topic has been going on for a while now and from my understanding since SS has no counter then it shouldn't be allowed or should be nerfed or have a counter created for it.

Otherwise it is really unfair to other nations. its like one nation have nukes and the others having little hand grenades.

Though personally I wouldn't care if SS was self-cast or nation-cast only. That would be sort of lame though, because a good way to own a Wiz that is just ressed is to SS him and he's out of commission for the next 1-2 minutes. Guess we'll just stick with the good old Divine Bless.

you are probably right Elmy but it seemed too unfair to me, and that ideaology is really flawed so I can't agree with Krypton... War is a dirty business but atleast in a virtual game where we don't have to play by the rules of real life we should try to bring honor and glory to it, otherwise its just meaningless. anyway it is about balance...which is essential to any game.

man now i think i am just being an idiot debating something I don't know a whole lot about... hmm but in that sense, its not very uncommmon on these boards.

War is a dirty business but atleast in a virtual game where we don't have to play by the rules of real life we should try to bring honor and glory to it, otherwise its just meaningless. anyway it is about balance...which is essential to any game.

Anyway, I said that because you seem to be under the impression that only "Zyph Priests" are able to do this. Each side is equally capable of doing everything the other side is capable of doing. The issue in question here is whether or not SS should be changed, it has nothing to do with one nation being unfair or not.

oh. thanks for clearing that up for me Elmy. yup i was under the impression that only one side can use it. my mistake. if all nations can use it then i will swallow my pride and take back what i said. Its a fair situation if all sides can use it so there is no reason for this entire discussion to be honest.

also thanks for the link, I have done some reading on the wars and participated in one but I don't understand it very well (edit- DR war). I will probably be better after I have more experience.

Indeed If anything, Vyseus is unfair in how their last stone is setup. It's a giant cluster f*** and hard to move around it. I call shenanigans.

In terms of DR wars, it's fairly simple. Kill a nation's stones in GG. Once those are down, enter their territory. Kill the stones in that map. Then enter the next. Kill the last stones there. Win. The only tricky part is knowing where to find the stones, and it's not really tricky since they don't move

Your nation gains WP (War Points) when someone kills someone with equal or higher level than the person that was killed. If time runs out and 2 (or 3) nations have the same amount of stones remaining, the winner is determined with WP.

I don't think I've ever seen that happen, so I don't actually know heh =/ Maybe whoever killed the stones first? Or the higher HP one wins?
