I agree with Jarl there. as it stands, its abused because it has no counter. anything that doesnt have a counter is going to be abused. SS is just more dominant. stop getting all uptight that we are trying to take anything away from priests, or that this is even viewed as such. this is simply a thread to talk about how we SHOULD make it counterable.

the problem isnt just the ss, same can be said about defood and blind, they cant be countered

Actually Zyph was also the first one to start spamming Stun and Divine Curse, but since I understand what teamwork is I actually cast SFD on people and use Holy Cure to remove curses from them. SS, on the other hand, has no counter. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do to prevent a priest from spamming SS on people. There aren't many classes with piercing skills, and they're the first ones to get SS'ed, then no one can attack the Priest spamming SS. Right now everyone has res potions, so priests being in SS doesn't mean much, and you can't get job skill GM to combine rares yet, so people can't get g20 masking rares to make their SS last 5-6 minutes long, but once the server goes live these things will change and priests spamming SS will ruin wars.

I didn't want to comment on this because I don't know much about wars but this topic has been going on for a while now and from my understanding since SS has no counter then it shouldn't be allowed or should be nerfed or have a counter created for it.

Otherwise it is really unfair to other nations. its like one nation have nukes and the others having little hand grenades.
