Stats bugging on character

So, when i stated my character to get 167 movp, it was all fine and dandy.....till i put on my D1 shiny spear (from mall). Movp drops by 5 and im not allowed to use shoes anymore. so i restat and tried again, and it worked.....till i logged out. same thing. Even throwing on D1 Kath helm doesnt give me the required Movp. i dont know if this is just me, but its REALLY irritating, considering that ive had to resat at least 8 times.....and im D3. think of my poor hand and all the abuse it has to go through to click that many times. Help?

it just doesnt like u lou, do u have gembox and mantle of raja on?

yeah, i got gembox on, but only attack cape. could that really be the problem?

check your item stats see if they have anything, like some items give Movp and such, and if you really had to restat 8 time, why didnt you just get 172 movp?

i had to restat 8 times because when it drops the stats to below what i need, the points dissapear. also, i didnt restat 8 times in a row. my stats work sometimes, and then.....they dont at other times. and why not just put it to 172? because thats wasting stats? would you want to waste that many points in DR? where 1 point off makes all the difference? i know, i know, this is a fast rate and you can just level past it.....but does it have to be necessary? isnt reporting bugs the whole point of this section of the forums?

also DA, im quite aware that certain items give stats....thats why i dont wear anything besides the gemboxes when i restat. now, if its the gemboxes thats messing it up, then thats just crap, and thats the problem.

i was just saying yea i wouldnt waste point, and yea beta is for reporting bugs, which you did, so why not just add 172 and it is only beta
