Do you think this is a good idea?

Yes, I like the idea of giving flags some power. It would make for some interesting game play, as well as make wars more amuzing.

No, this idea is retarded. Why give flags power, when nobody uses them? It would be a waste of time, when the GM's can focus on making me Z pots, and anti-curse pots.

omg you dont get the point tensu, the bonuses are AURA effects, meaning they provide benefits to everyone in range of the AoE of the aura. I don't know if that can be coded in DR though.
So having 1 flag carrier would be a tactical advantage and a nice morale booster for the stone destroyers.



Anything can be coded but your asking for alot of work and complete change in game play. All this for a flag.. if your giong to go through all that work why not do it for some class that could use aura's.


Everyone can use good auras that give benefits like AC and movement speed and cp recovery etc, just need a priest or wizzie to charge in with a flag and lead your nation to victory!

i like this idea, it would have to be very carefully done though so as not to hinder or boost the flag bearer to much.

maybe if it had different effects for each type of class when carrying, based on common rare choices that they would be missing out on. then give a set of stats to everyone effected by aura (and not too the bearer) regardless of the class of the flag bearer.

i would like to see the GM's comment on how much hard work they think it would be to code.

i am presuming that all this would only apply for wars.
