Well, TT leeching only work if you're doing something, it's to prevent people from getting TT without doing anything.
So, if you want to get TT from your party, you have to fight as well.
If you want to test it, just leech an unused TT (like Sword for wizards) while attacking with magery.

You have to be hitting some monster and gaining exp in order to leech after 100, I know it doesn't make sense but that's how it is for me and my bro.
So if you afk, you don't leech
