The only thing that really needs to be changed is the EXP output of vd2+ (and perhaps the outdoor monsters as well, cyclops etc). But really, there really should be a reason to level up. (And I actually hope that it's not as Proacker said, but that it's both a party leech max and a level max). It's so unintuitive and silly to actually stay at a lower level on purpose. It makes no sense at all, and it makes most people almost never see endgame content, ever.
I also completely do not understand the whole argument behind 'how will TT classes kill people'.
The only difference with what they are putting forth here is that you will actually be leveling your character's level along with your TT, instead of only your TT. Now not only priests will be dualing before everyone else. (which will also help in the balance, since the reason priest are so strong is because they get higher level / dual than everyone else...)
If you're biggest beef is that it sucks to go to VD2 + with less than 150 TT (which btw has nothing to do with your TT, VD2 just sucks balls), they can fix that, easily. And I can't believe that you guys would assume that they couldn't / wouldn't.
There is such a thing as not liking change. But you shouldn't throw out the fact that, literally, anything is possible if they wish to implement it. This includes changing the TT system, and making it work properly. The GM's aren't stupid people, and the fact that you're underestimating them to this point is a bit of a shock. They are players too, they know what's going on. They understand the game and what will effect it.
Why should I fear Death? If Death is,
I am not, if I am, Death is not. So why
should I fear that which can only exist if
I do not?
