Getting PKed while hunting

I'm new to this game so let me ask, is it commonplace to have higher levels PK you while you are hunting and minding your own business? If so, there will not be a lot of reasons to stay with this game. In other games I've played like WoW and Warhammer, your own side can't simply come up and kill you for no reason. It seems foolish to me that someone should have the ability to attack me if I'm not in PVP mode. It also seems counter productive to the war effort if I can't level up to help with the upcoming wars. I've seen that players can get NP for killing others, but that's of little compfort when any low level priest can Anthem the offender and take away the NP.

first of all wolcome to the game i hope i will enjoy it.
did u got pk or just asking ? coz ther was some suggestion so ppl from ur own nation can't pk. but u should know in the higher lvl places such as vd or wg or hagmonia all 3 nations can't lvl witch make it a place witch u will get pk and pk athers. (atlist for now, if thay do not post a anti pk low). i hope u will not encounter high lvl ppl from a diffrent nation (can be higher then u by 30 and more lvls, and duals) that will pk u, but in previes servers ther was alot of pk in all the diffrnce of the lvling stage.
but this time (at list i think so) u can lvl with quest too not only hunting.

This was not another nation PVPing me, it was a Spy from my own nation (named MaLziEber, Zypern nation) just running up and attacking me while I was hunting Gargoyles and minding my own business, in a land that was not neutral but Zypern. I'm not sure how much higher his character was from mine but my title was light brown and his was white so it could have been as much as 20+ levels differnce, at least 10. Not very sporting, and makes for a dissatisfying game experience, especially in a market that offers so many MMORPGs. I know from the forums that the GMs are working hard to make this a great game, and this kind of activity seems counter productive to that end.

the title spy is brown not white and its 71 but thief with white title is a 81 lvl atlist, and btw as far as i know ther was some rules that ppl suggestted about pk from ur own nation, maybe they will be out after the beta

Well whatever the colors (he was running around as I was in ghost form and trying to get his info - paying the most attention to his name of course) he was way above my level and went out of his way to kill me for no reason. So what's up with that????

Leave zypern. Join vyseus. zypern is full on br-s who are retarded.
this game is oldschool and therefore doesnt have much protection for newbies. Hopefully gms do something about that. Coz as you mentioned, at this MMORPG market we have now, the still classic old Dragon Raja will not survive and the random pk is sadly one of its reasons. But atm your only option is to join a guild who can protect you.
