And.. you talk about it giving you something else to do when you get 150.. you do realize that nobody ever gets 150 right? Also, low lvls were not overpowered, the pk system has very little to do with your actual level, it's your TT level and your DUAL CLASS level that determines your ability to kill someone and also yours and the other persons rares. EX: Lvl 105 D1 archer with 125 TTs (under new system w/ g20 Force) CAN'T kill Lvl 105 D1 priest (w/ G20 AC) VS. Lvl 105 D1 archer with 180 TTs (w/ g20 Force) CAN kill Lvl 105 D1 priest (w/ G20 AC). See what I did there? The actual character level is completely meaningless. Now again EX: Lvl 120 D3 Archer with 140 TTs (under new system w/ G20 Force) CAN'T kill Lvl 105 D1 priest (w/ G20 AC). Once again, the character level is completely out of the equation but also, with the new changes the DC rank is also out of the equation simply because the TTs are so low and the D2/3 bow that the archer is using by this time still isn't giving him enough damage to kill the priest. This change makes higher DC ranks meaningless. Sure the priest couldn't kill the archer either but whats point in being D3 if you can't kill a single D1 priest? This change effectively makes priests (or warriors.. or anyone with high AC.. hell a mage could make AC rares and be unkillable for quite some time under this system) more overpowered. A character with high AC is not going to see any real threat from anyone until people are well into the 160 TT region, meaning lvl 140+.
That's the actual kind of thought you have to put into making decisions like these. Not just "Oh it sounds good and the people seem to like it so it must be good". And I hope you learned a little something about PK from this.
the only real problom with the new lvling system is the stupid jump..... thay made it main lvl +20 and that not good we all offerd somthing like this :
lvl 100-105 can get up to 110
lvl 105-110 can get up to 120
lvl 110-115 can get up to 130
lvl 115-120 can get up to 140
and so on....... that is way better then up in the +20 jump
