However, defenitivly, priest has the upper on a on duel VS mage. Even more when you can't repot.

Mage his an aggresive class. However, if you wan't to own on big pking, you will need warlock. If you do not pick warlock let me tell you what will happen: You will get blued then ex'ed to death. Or blued then someone ld u+hit.

Mage biggest strengh is speed. It's the quickest class of the game, abuse of it.

When ever I got blued I'd slow the enemy back "or stun if needs must" then spam circle flame until either they ran away, I died or they died. Circle flame is a defensive spell for wizards and is made for close combat situations which is what usually happens when you get slowed. Ask anyone who used to fight me in the local war on NR about my tactics.. Good enough to kill d4 warrior sometimes (yeah had g20 mv though), good enough to kill d4 archer, good enough to kill d3 thief and d1 wizard, from a d1 grandwizard with high hp... That's not bad atall.

Ask Zeus from NR about my tactics lol.

Cf is not necessairly a defensive spell. You can cast it somewhere, then run and the person run on it.

My priest had: g10 eva g10 resist blaze max endu. You sort of can't die to mage, normally.

Also, some of my ennemie, and even some espada member said i was one of the most kosing and crazy mage they saw. They didn't said the most skilled, but the one that kill the more the other player. I am an aggresive player, that's my way of playing. Defensif suck, defense player should play priest.

Also, i never ever use slow on my mage.

Np if you want to stay bad, but you shouldn't post topic that ask other people opinion and thought when a pro player of you're class come around and tell you the correct info and you spit on it.

If you're able to reset your str into other stats, warlock has the advantage since warlocks can get 137 movp shoes from the beginning. What people don't realize when they're into theorycrafting is that the GW symbol is actually more desirable than warlock symbol in most situations. In the highly idealized situation (where everyone has stroke candles), the warlock symbol is superior.

With my playstyle, I'd choose a tzigane. To me, wizards are all about hit and run. That's why I absolutely hate dueling because the space is so small. The moment you're immobilized or stay in one area is the moment your death is certain. Keep your buffs up, slow/blind your target, run around like a maniac, use whatever offensive spell you have, run out again, and run back in when it's safe to cast. For that, movement speed stat is ideal. Heck, I might even start playing DR just to see how tzigane works out in the end.

Open field pvp is where it's at. Don't bother closed spaces because you'll most likely get rocked.

Talk about being cocky, although I share your sentiment.

Because i have 50k HP with 150 AC so I can stay in one area and fight. Once you get higher duals with more INT, it's not as devastating, but you're just screaming to be killed if you cast a spell when someone can approach you and kill you. I'm pretty sure even you run around quite a bit, but you don't want to admit it. For slow and blind, that's personal preference. Slowing is tactically acceptable, blind is my personal preference because I love to annoy people. Stun is just cheap so I only use it to escape or rebuff.

Ask Minipp how I run around with my mage. He'll tell you nice stories of him raging. Running is an acceptable tactic, even the most ideal in most situations with wizards. There's a reason why we have haste. You do fine doing the opposite of what I do and that's fine. If you really don't want to be a f*****, I suggest you play a priest or warrior and take it like a man.

My mage on dr br had 103 magery and 14k hp. Still was really aggresive, not running away from fight and come back, no slow, no blind.

Well on NR I got my mage to level 107 with 181 magery, fought all classes up to d4.

I class that as superior playing experience but that's again my opinion.

Also ever seen someone walk into circle flame? Sometimes it can double the amount of damage dealt making it a deadly close range spell useful for getting people out of tight situations, I was one of the first wizards I know of on low rate to actually utilize circle flame to its full effect.

There were plenty of d3 wizards running around using oldskool tactics whilst I was d1 and using superior tactical angles.

The only other wizard I knew who played as well as I was Defence, everyone else relied on rares and level alone with a cheap flamewave here and there on a slowed target.

Also bear in mind I had no AC what so ever except a level 70 shield.

And I had less than 50 movp.
