Yes, priests are strong after D3, but the measure you raised(reduce the damage of LD in the presence of Resist Holy rares) is not practical at all. This action will make priest unable to kill anyone, or is this your purpose? I think there are absolutely other ways to balance the pk strength of all classes after D3, which are much more practical than exploiting the only killing spell that priests got.

Besides, I want to say, priests pay much more effort than other classes in all areas like lvling, tt lvling, rare making(when there is no ppl lvling in man scorpion area), dualing, getting symbols, healing forever in party(much more boring than attacking), tanking forever(boring, but you just cannot leave)......Priest deserve this spell.

cause to use resist holy rare people will not use other kinds of rares, wich will autobalance all.

Tell me how can priests kill ppl with the same lv without using Life Drain.
One possible way I can think of is to use Rage Light Ball together with extremely lag network condition(at the same time right click the target continuously), so that when the connection become less lag, 7-8 light balls will just overlap each other and eventually hit the target and the target will have his HP run out. I have succeed in doing this once, in .my server.

Yes, attacker cannot use Force and Resist Holy at the same time, so that priest will not die in a short period of time only. Priests will die if they run out of HP potions, and they cannot create great dmg to attackers(if Noeyesee's suggestion is applied), what can they do?

fact is priests are not suposed to kill people. they are soposed to be a suport class, that's why they are nearly immortal.

You can say so(since most of the current online games feature this point too!).
You can raise a poll to count the will of the players :)

PS[EDIT]: 1 question want to ask again, Do you think making less dmg for LD on ppl with Resist Holy rares is the ONLY solution for balancing the strength of all classes?

I have never said to make some rare to resist ld or anything. I posted a list of suggestion to balance this issue. Either nerf priest resistance, make other char hit stronger, make rare to pierce defense ( some sort of br or magic penetration). Something in these option.

I do believe the priest mechanic is nice as it is, maybe some new spell would be cool also. Just need to find the right balance.

About the priest making more effort then other class, it sound totally absurd to me. Maybe on raring, cause many priest have 3+ set, whole other class have 2 most of the time. However, the rest is alot easier.

Very sorry for omitting two of your options.
You said
Fact are priest are OP. To fix it you need either:

-nerf the class

-up the other class

-make more resistance to LD


One of these 3 option should be taken for a server health.

The last one mentioned, not practical.
The first and second one are possible but should not be done until dual class, these are my opinion only.

Dual class can be easly get in 1 week. d3 in a month. Not like we're speaking of stuff that's gonna happen in 1 year.
