then they might want to switch warriors whom dual class to priests to be templars & priests whom dual class to warriors as paladins.

That might make a little more sense in terms of lore,
in terms of whether or not a priest should be wearing a shield.. the outlook hasn't changed.
In my experience in most MMO's & lore, paladins wear shields.

in those games.. shield add BLOCK and little/no defence.. if you wanna give Block (smart) abilities to shield in DR.. that would be a whole other story :W:

in rf online yeah shield did give block and it give boost of def.
Int version is better.

and

for aion shield give reduction %(damage) and block bonus that decrease the damage. well all depend what type of shield you get gold version is superb.

But this healer in aion/rf aren't like the priest in DR that life drain (what ever that skill called) with counter/strike and normal hit that guy for death yahh..... This type of healer in rf/aion needed def and shield to live longer in battle to heal the group and keep them alive. It would be great if a priest(DR) to use any attack skill(spells) you need to equip staff(should add bonuses/common sense) and if you need to heal/buff/debuff should equip using shield(live longer) or a staff. I mean healers were meant 2 be support classes.

p.s i would like to see priest do more healing aoe then just running to ppl drain and normal hit, but many here would deny such cuz they want to kill thing. but "common sense" healer are meant to heal and support war/group, but i don't know much in dr i just watch youtube clip and read what ppl talk about... '-_- soo please flame me and correct me ^.^

Healing in PKing is pretty much obsolete with no cool down on pots, so priest need some kind of offensive capabilities. If you want to add a cool down on pots, that basically means changing this entire game.

or maybe make the pot have .50 delay. priest will become more useful then just sfd and Zerk. but eh just ideas ^^ all depend what GM's give thy say. o.0 just thinking how damage in this game is retarded im having second thought about the delay......
