Cutting logs without learning them

A couple days ago I was able to cut fir logs without having learned them nor having the cutting level. Only happened twice before I completed the quest and learned the item but still feeling like reporting.
Not really a bad thing for any lumberjack but still...a bug?

I noticed it too, but it seemed of very little significance. Should probably be fixed, but its not a big deal either

Also to use the bug as feature you could technically remove the whole learning item thing (for lumber at least) and just make the char cut whatever the level is.
Though I don't really want that because I'm nostalgic when it comes to this stuff but nobody ever really has not enough crit to learn the items I think ^^; at least around the level where jobbing and making your rares is more relevant.
