[New player rant] Monsters in town

Hello

I played DR a bit a LONG time ago and yesterday decided to join here a bit for fun, but i quickly found myself unable to play because of numerous high level monsters roaming the town (Zypern), at first i worked around it by choosing the auto resurection once i'm already at my exp spot, but ended up being unable to continue playing when i was out of food and the npc that sells them is surrounded by monsters (there's probably another npc, but i dunno i was a low lvl back then and i don't really remember that much about DR anyway)

So seriously wtf ? you can't expect new player to come if they can't play propely.

Is there any possibility to make them ignore people under lv 61? (Make sure you dont let them tank aswell)

make the monster gone after certian period,like 1 day?
or make them drop some goodies,then maybe someone will hunt them down,maybe ;s

Well they shouldn't drop anything as they are technically a punition for loosing monster war lol.
However I'll probably make them disappear after a while.

thanks for the quick answers, managed to get by with the little food you have when you resurect xD

but yeah you should make them dissapear after a while or scale the number/level of the monsters depending on the population/level of each nation

edit: oh and btw, don't wanna make a new topic about it, but to attract new player you should consider making a browser version of the game (and make it a bit easier at lower level, since newcomer might find it a bit too "old school asian mmo" flavored)

A browser version of the game is, unfortunately, not possible. However we are currently working on features to make the game easier for new players.

Client version has bugs enough... Think about what would happen if they launch it via browser xD
