If the target is standing, the FireBird will hit 2 times, sometimes 3. If the target moves with the FireBird, it can it more times. Also there is a bug (hard to do though and requires a bit of luck) where if the caster and the target are moving at the same time in certain directions regarding the FireBird, the FireBird then becomes "controlable" by the caster, the same way as a knife sometimes become, allowing the caster to do additional hits. But that last case barely happens.

If your running away from them they tend to hit more cause your in there effect longer as they pass over you. I think a bigger concern is how easily some people seem to never miss aiming them at you.

Ok the question here, how fast priest can run compare to a theif/archer?
So, like signpainter said, it can do 2 sometimes 3, thats mean five hits to occur is almost impossible, yet still possible. I did a test, and the result is like signpainter said, 2-3 2-3, hard to get 5, dont you see here ms. signpainter, to get more easy make fb 5 hits is to edit the file from phinix to tblow/or fw.. then one hits = 5 hits can kill a mage that just cast a dispell skill. trust me, they still abusing it, and this annoying, very very annoying since we put our effort to get rares for evades mages skills, but they simply hit us to death only once cast with 5 hits, If you allow, I will also do the file edit. if not, NO FUTURE!

I love this game, but please be fair, hope GM can do a check. And I also know that so many player already did that stuffs. Thanks.

that guy just fat dun even know how to edit/hack on his wizard, don become pessimistic i believe those edit files people get permanent ban no matter what, this game yes its unfair sometime i think but if u said about hack, no hacker can escape in here, i swear on this.

well if u know how that hack be, and u dun believe how the hacker get caught using hack, u can make a wizard and edit it, u will see how fast ur character get ban, i still insist those fb hit 5 times was rare luck but i play all times in the game, i dun found any wizard doing 5 times fb all the time.

i was fighting there on Sentinel and you quite clearly ran along with the fb getting 5hits nothing edited. Fat just has alot BR and doesent suk so much with a wizard compared to most yllse.
Solution to your survival problem is simple: run sideways to dodge the spell. It is actually quite rare to see a priest die to wizard fb as priest has 200+endu, robe gives around g12? resist all by default and usually additional evasion rares equipped. To even make it more interesting you can use legend robe that gives additional g8 resist all giving total of g20resist all+ evasion + 200endu.

A dual3 priest is allmost as fast as a dual archer when he uses 167 movp shoe and a speed item/d2spell.

You should try to play archer, even with lg eva, max endu, and a g12,5fire resist bow a dc4 archer dies easily to fb, oly possibilty is to dodge it
