Personally, I think the punishment should be made by those who try (Some may did it many times) to play bug abuse on this issue.
Also, I think roll back 2 weeks may be a possible solution because it is very difficult to make sure that what is the legal things and what is the fake one!!
For example, Someone give some fake money to other for buy pot for war/maze, other players never know
Same situation in Someone give other some fake revival egg (get in gambling by bug abuse money) for using in war , other players never know
So, roll back 2 weeks is a possible solution

However, there are few problem about roll back!
First, is that roll back 2 weeks is enough for all return to normal (May be someone play that bug more than 2 weeks)??
Second, If roll back all players (On the list and not on the list) and all exp, money, rares and items on this two weeks, i think the legal players may think that GM also punished them!
For example, extra one week db exp can not give back the LGs or DS loot in this two week maze, DF also.
(I am talking with the legal players, I do agree that GM should roll back and punished those players on the bug abuse list and even heavy punish someone who really skillful and play that bug many times)
So, I think GM should not roll back every thing get in this two week for some legal players!
For example, I think Leveling exp, DF in maze and Looting items in maze should not roll back, because those thing is not so relative with the money and gambling bug!!!~

Anyway, Hope GM can consider about it and thanks for fixing and address the problem!!~

Sorry to say this but the "work" you guys will have to put back into your characters is nothing compared to the work we have to do to fix everything. I am really sorry the innocent gets a bit punished by this but I'm very afraid it's the only way to make sure everything gets fixed properly.

Plus some people (like you?) have been asking for the server to restart/close in order to restart from begining. So you want restart from level 1 but you don't want to loose 2 weeks? Makes sense...

The "Work" every player put into their characters must be protected overall, the work you have to do to fix everything its ur responsability as GM.
The innocent people shoulnt get punished cause of this.
You take the necessary time to check who did traded the items in a legit way, not hard to realize who where the bug abusers getting profit and where the Legit players did commerce in a fair way.
You have chat logs, item logs, know where items and things where going.

Please make a difference between illegal actions and legit trades.
Legit players always must be overall, they dont deserve any kinda of rollback or item/re lost.
Dont rush trying to put server online, take your time and call in a exceptional way all those GMs that could give a hand at this moment.

Unfortunately it's rollback for everyone or no rollback. We can't rollback specific characters only.

Doing any kinda of rollback only punish the only few people that still playing this game. You SHOULD give a example punish for every bug abuser, remove fame dual fame items and even rollback their own characters.
Rollback 2 weeks only will kill all the job legit players did, even will make server lose credibility.
Why would people work again on their rares, leveling, or even trading or selling items for RE, if they arent protected of a new bug appear and get rollback again?

I give another example, a dc 3 player just loot a ds in last week big maze, then he think he can be dc4, he up 5 level to 135 and solve the last quest for dc4 ... and be dc4 finally

imagine when u roll back 2 week of this server, he will not have ds may be don't have one more chance to get a ds
the last quest not solve, still 130 level
most important, he is still dc3
what is his feeling..?

i think player may tend to wait more time rather than just roll back everything...
coz roll back 2 week is really a big deal for the players who play it everyday
