Haha, I'm not a decent programmer, so don't expect new ingame content from me. I do management and the occasional web and design tasks.

New job system is really good
and local war for add war point system is good too

like brandon said fix the bug
and speed up the ticket solving processs

support ticket system is an vital part in this game too
in the past, i wait more than 2 months to fix my dc3 quest bug and more than 4 months to get my lg back

 Monster War? This was in New Raja as well, but I will still give you credit for this because it runs smoothly here.
 Achievements? Rofl, I don't even know what Achievements I have finished. Plus, it says I get the same achievement every single day. What kind of use is this? You call this content?
 New Arena System? Rofl, I have sat in queue all day long and still didn't get a fight. You call this content? Still needs work.
 New Job system through quests? Great change and addition but how long did it take to get the bugs fixed for it? Are the monster killing quests still bugged?

I agree that there has been a ton of other minor changes that have been great, but for nearly 2 years, and we get broken/half ass content added????

'-_- Please add more content that isn't half ass done... You get my point.

The New Arena System, I said on the day of the update that I needed players to massively BETA test it before I could add the rest of the content. Appart from you not much people tried it, which is why it's taking longer, I get no bug report about it since it doesn't get tested.

I have reported to you personally that the level range needs to be increased. So if you want it to be tested more... increase the level range so players can actually get a match. :hmpf:

Other than that so far, I have not seen a problem. So take advice and increase the level range.

Also, I would like to mention that IMPriest has asked if its possible to see how many people are waiting in queue.. It might be a possibility that people are queueing up in different tiers.. (2 vs 2) (3 vs 3) (5 vs 5)......

So there must be something wrong with it. Do you happen to wonder why don't people join it?
If you still need lots of match to test it, do what Brandon said: increase the ranges, or maybe remove the level cap just for testing it, and add it back slowly. If you find a way to incentivate people to join, then soon they will do it by their own.

What do you manage in the team/server? Lot of us old schoolers know that you haven't played the game very much yourself, so you having any emotionally attachment to the game just boggles my mind. So why do you stick around? Is there money involved? Is there some sort of agreement that forces you to pop in and give your insight on situations? I give SignPainter and the other GMs (Tempest, Phalanx) credit for the work that they have done, but I don't see where any credit should be given to you. Shoot me for voicing my opinion. I just say it the way I see it.

As you can see, players are agreeing with me. I have yet to see a disagreement.

Website looks great, and hope to see more improvements to it as time goes on. Especially the information that could be useful for new players that decide to give this game a try. Take the time to manage your team properly and we might see a very structural sound team and you might see a lot of great spirit coming from the players rather than the negative spirit a lot of us have. We love the game and would like to see it evolve further as time goes on, including fixing bugs that are showing their ugly face.

You get out of the server (and players), what you put into it.

Whilst offtopic I don't mind answering the question; I have indeed only played the game as player for a short period of time. During this period however I've had a lot of fun in the game due to the fact that I played with some real life friends as well. Good memories came from it, and I wanted the game to survive. I've been the one that did trades back in the day when the server files first leaked with some Chinese hackers, and together with Thralas and Finito we've puzzled out how the files worked, and with that information created the first server. Since I've always been involved with computers and games this as a great and fun excercise as well as a good way to learn in new fiels of the IT sector. In later development I've been in charge with the business side of things; negociating licenses, handling contact with third parties and so on. I don't pay myself in money or RE, for the record. In my personal life I've always been someone that doesn't mind helping out others when and where possible, I guess Dragon Raja is one of those things which I don't mind putting effort in, besides the fact that I find it awesome to see the game still alive, plus there's the learning part that's a nice bonus for me.

Oh, and I've always been responsible for the web design, same for the latest website. And whilst I'd love this game to grow, we'd need more staff, and with such a small and sadly, rude, community; finding staff members is a pain if you don't plan on paying your employee's full wage like we don't plan to do; it wouldn't be possible since the game does not generate enough income to fully pay several staff members, let alone one.

fail *coff*
sorry.. I couldnt resist Robbie

Well.. you mentioned the players. But by the first time, from what I see, the players aren't being so cocky like they used to... Its true we still got some scum, but they are so few... Maybe Its time for you to look closer on potential players who are around since ever and still didn't have the chance :greet:

So saying you do management is currently a little exagerrated.

Managing a server and a GM team takes a lot of dedication, just like running your own company. If I were you and wanted to manage the team, I would give the extra time I have by helping the current GMs with priorities during the extra time they have.

Take a look at the ticket system and use it a useful tool. Analyze what is causing the most tickets being created and fix them. This will free up a lot of extra time in the long run and will let the coders use their 'free time' to add new content into the game. This system should have been used for the past 2 years and eventually, all we should be seeing is new content being added into the game, with occasional bugs that go along with them.

But if we keep letting the old bugs and the new bugs add up, it will only become worse and worse and worse.

I guess if this doesn't make sense to you, then I need to go back to a management course and learn how to manage a small team properly myself.
