Just to emphasize; 'Indie Studio' is not a name or whatever, it's a term for an independent studio. This is the company behind Dragon Raja, and it has another small project besides it. We don't aim to let DR suffer under time spent on the other project instead of DR; we've actually been discussing hiring a new events GM, some of the features in the suggestion forum and performed quite a cleanup and update behind the scenes forumwise.

Indie Studio was just the name I pulled off Elevalx's Twitter (GMSignPainter). I can see alot of his time is being spent on other projects rather than Dragon Raja.

The way I see it. Dragon Raja IS suffering because of it. You really can't deny that at all. If you take a look at the support (through tickets), you will notice how long it takes for someone to get a response or notice how long it takes someone to get no response at all yet. If you take a look at the bug list in bug reports forum, its growing and growing after each 'new feature' is added into the game and not being fixed properly. Take a look at previous update (Change Logs) that still have not been implemented but still says its been implemented.

The forum itself is a complete mess in the above scene. Take a look at some posts that are well over due and need to be unstickied. The Server news.... well, this is a joke if you're a new player trying to view the server news.

I understand that all the GMs have their own personal lives. I understand that perfectly. Discussing to a hire a new events GM is awesome and all but who is GMExcalibur then?

Conclusion: "We don't aim to let DR suffer under time spent on the other project instead of DR"
:arrow: This is by far the most contradicting statement you can come up with.

I honestly didn't think it is the solution. It was more sarcasm than anything.

I've stated the problems above.

Wiping would work for one year.
Then we would be discussing again about it.
And in another year (the 2nd after wipe) we would wipe again and restart the cycle :greet:

something like:

Code: Select all

int year = 0;
int pplBitching = 0;
Boolean wipe = false

while(wipe != true)
{
   if (year > 2)
   {
       wipe = true;
   }
   pplBitching += 35;
   year += 1;
}
this.serverInstance = new Server(pplBitching);

:ugeek: :geek: :ugeek:
Be the change you wanna see to the world.

Let's be honest, even before you jumped to this new conclusion as you tend to do; hasn't this situation been like this since ever? Running DR is still not a fulltime job for us, tickets are always piled up due to lost motivation or complicated widespread cases, and are periodically handled in batches, or when there's motivation; continuously. Saying this is just a side-effect of us working on other things as well is complete nonsense. Bugs have always been there, and you have already read that what players want is new content; hence we tend to focus somewhat more on adding new things other than fixing old bugs, which we've cleared a ton of over the years anyway.

For the record, I was just emphasizing a small part of your post, if you continue discussing this, I'm going to remove the posts as they are unneeded provocation and offtopic.

For the record, New features does not equal new content.

The main point of Spherix is if you want the server to evolve, don't make it look bad.

:W: Seems I hit a nerve. Im sorry I voice my opinion from what I see. Players do want new content which has been suggested before. But again if you have any common sense, you would know that fixing bugs is very important task as well. I guess you will find that out with your android apps you are creating. New content is great when it doesnt create more bugs. How hard is it to comprehend that? Am i the only player that feels this way? Absolutely not.. i just voice my opinion. I dont try to make the server look bad. You guys do that on your own. Im sure everyone here will agree with me on that. Saying you will delete the posts just shows. Why do you stick around if your not dedicated to making Dragon Raja better. Im here because i love the game. What are you here for? Why have you stuck around for so long? I want the game to evolve and thats why im pushing for more. I guess im in the wrong for pushing for change since the server hasn't changed in 2 years with the same problems from the beginning. Ill be a coward and keep my mouth shut just so you can sit back and pretend to look good in the background. Signpainter has done a great job. More than what uou can say.
