It says it's online on the website but every time I try to log in with a new account it says it can't connect.
Tried again, 5 hours later still can't log on. I did a fresh install and patched it and was using the update to log on and it just keeps saying failed to log in server popup.
Did a tracert and it doesn't even reach the server. It times out on the 15-30th hop. I also did a whois on the company to ascertain where the server is located so I can guess what ping I would get and it says the company is in portland,or. If that' the case it should only take me 2 hops instead of 30.

The server is in Atlanta, GA. They don't allow you to ping the server anymore, so that is normal.
What is the error you are receiving? Be sure you have ran the updater. If you download the game and go straight to try and play it, it will say it cannot connect to server because it is trying to reach the old server (which its obviously not connected to). Run Updater.exe in your DR folder, it will automatically patch updates for you. If that doesn't work try deleting the file Client.ver. Let me know if you still run into problems.

Thanks. Deleting the client.ver file worked. Before when I tried to update it would say I am fully updated. I thought I was because I extracted the .rar file of the newest patch. When I took your advice and deleted the file it updated and re-patched the files and it connected.
Sounds like everyone but players are too busy to answer legitimate questions. I even tweeted SignPainter on his mistralis url and no reply in like 15 hours. Hopefully, it's not the same problem the players run into every single year of the staff only being here when enough people complain about lack of service.

Signpainter has been a bit busy recently, so don't take him ignoring you personally. He has put alot of work into this server and I'm sure will continue to do so as soon as the imagine cup competition is over.
