When Sphers tries to D2 he crashes

When Sphers tried to D2, his DR crashes. The first time he went, the npc took the tooth, then he continued clicking the NPC, then he crashed. I tried to D2 on him, but it does the same thing to me, I crash. He's got the lvl and fame for D2, before crash, the npc says "You need more training...". How to fix this to where he can D2?
