tbh i dont really see the meaning in this poll its not needed... and it would just give the gms more work on top of what they are doing... i voted make them hit hard... should be less work for gms that way

Here's a simpler suggestion: Take out PKmode in town and put a -% NPC in town for those who wish to lose exp. That achieves your goal of protecting newbies and it addresses the issue of harsh punishments. After all, you can't have harsh punishments when the act that is being punished cannot technically be carried out. As for those who PK in town because someone pissed them off (AKA me), tough luck. PK them when they level (Y)

none of the suggestions i made take much time extra in coding cuz the code itself hardly changes... just some different vallues

Do you even understand my suggestion lol? I said take out PKmode in town. Meaning even if people want to keep PKing in town, they CAN'T. When you turn on PKmode and use a spell to someone, it won't do any damage as if they're in the same party as you. And if people want -%, they can go to the NPC that gives it to them. Now I know I'm an excellent repairman :o

Removing PK from town completely will make the towns very boring

well sometimes people just bank their stuff and go wild right next to the safe area when they are bored.. Removing that would be just wrong... Low levels can get ressed and stay out of his way OR lure a guard(improved version) onto him :D
