Balance Warrior Weapons

its true piercing have more damage then others 1h weapons but str give extra damge.not much is true but sword and mace need height str and piercing no, so sword/mace will have a litle extra damage.this change must be added on beta not now because now many warriors have piercing and nice tt so they would be suffer.and one more thing all weapons have highter lazer weapon and piercing have disvantage on this point.sword give a nice resist fire and most off wiz on war use fb and fw, mace if im not wrong give resist lighting nice vs bl but piercing give resist ice and i never seen wizards using ice magic on wars '-_- i think all weapons are balanced.any case its fair add damage on sword and mace but unfair decrease damage on piercing weapon in my opinion :ugeek:

Exactly. Piercing protects against Ice. Fire sword makes FW and FB look like NOTHING. Lightning mace does the same against Blood Lightning. LP and others are forgetting about the ELEMENTAL aspects of the weapons. If you look at the entire game, its not as overpowered as you say it to be.

Warrior weapons balance should happen for next mondays update (dont hang me if it doesnt tho, but thats the target :) )

Il be reading this thread more carefully later this week and throw in my view point. Hopefully we will get some responses before we decide to change anything ^o^ might contact few known old school warriors to throw off some ideas as well

Quit being ignnorant. Even shayne agrees that 2h weapons need a boost in power. Especially since at d3 there is very little point damage difference between pike and 2h weapon. There should be a big difference. Just like thief and archer. Offense vs defense.

not nice balance weapons when server is currently live...some pll made chosed piering and wouldnt chang it now because already have nice tt.you can find a point to balance it without decrease piercing damage, i hope '-_-

nerfs and boosts do happen in other mmorpgs tho why not DR? if DR is not willing to change at all it will die

ps: i havent read all posts in this topic yet and feel like boosting other weps would be the better choice compared to nerfing pike. might change my opinion after i read some arguments tho :P

I took that into account. Ice 2h sword... might save your ass against a db but not a wiz in pvp.

sorry, this is out of topic.

since when warriors came first on the list than archer?
warriors have enough changes already. why not focus on archers first.

imo give 2h more dmg and also make Sure to keep grapple around the mid of both even tho only few use grapple :P
as for nerfing spear that wouldnt change nothing much imo since 1h mace/sword still isnt bad..
