you get 3 fame for being near a stone/gate when it breaks
You also get additional fame for killing other players (i don't think level matters).

What? Really? I never got these two...

i get the 3fame aswell but never gotten fame from killing anyone in sw

I'm pretty sure you can get up to 15 fame (5 for being in war + 10 for killing people) at the very end of sw after the last stone is broken. unless I'm getting sw and castle war mixed up?
