im using microsoft sidewinder x6 and so is cell

the x6 is really good tbh , adjustable lightning brightness on the keyboard , low profile keys , i think 90 extra macro buttons and a swappable keypad to either left or right hand side

gaz, is it a mechanical keyboard? how many years of warranty microsoft give?

Not sure if its mechanical, I dont think so , but it does everything I need , also have a volume control switch, macro record button , different gaming profiles , play pause next previous buttons.

Keys are good to type on and iv had it for a year of every day use and no sigh of any button wearing off

Lenovo sux + vista window.....takes 5mins to bot my notebook T_T
the wifi always fml too..Orz..

F11....lol luckily i m still fine of those buttons, but the stick gonna die one day. :hmpf:

Go to your BIOS and change it so function keys need you to hold down the "Fn" key for their special features. Then you can use your F1-12 keys properly. This only works with certain laptop models though.

Try to find something like on this image and disable it:

By the way if you are unsure of what you're doing or aren't sure about the setting you're changing, don't change anything at all and just exit bios without saving, otherwise you might screw something up.
