No, I like how boring and dull grapple warriors look right now.

really shayne, learn how to play before you prove publicly that you suck.

Graple has no point. 2h warrior atm have no reason at all to be played. They are nothing more than weak 1h warrior. Pike is the way to go with great dammage and can blue. 2h warrior has nothing interessing to offer, except maybe fencing warrior. Graple is a mix of 2h and 1h, that give ac and better dammage, but the trade is not fair.

You won't have enought ac to survive to double ex. Of course if you have sfd, you will. But if you plan on being buffed, might as well going 2h double axe. With the new TT cap, thief is going to be more dominant than before. This mean warrior need to build properly to fight thief. With ice shield, the best way to fight thief is defensive warrior with strike/counter/ac.

Crapple gives AC. I think before the reg d1 gaunt it gives like half the ac of a shield. So if you have a cape or use both SC's then it's like you have a shield anyway. Also his lightning hit is pretty powerful. I was hitting 4ks with only 75ish in tactics in beta. No need to do double strike because this skill is better. I owuld guess that 120 tt with lightning strike and shield would do 10k easy possibly more. Then you factor in you're rares. If you just do like a fencer and go all force you could probably do 15k each strike with zerk.

So imagine a crapple warrior with just force rares doing 15kish at 120 tt (just guessing) then he also had shied and pike so he pepsi you and you're super slow then Poisons you, then does his lightning hit...

Grapple doesn't give much benefits as people think. The stats are nice, but so are the stats for piercing. They both require the same amount of strength, but piercing requires dex. If we're to assume you're going to get thief shoes that requires dex, they essentially save the same amount of stats that can go into endu and cha. And the defense from grapple doesn't give that much. Check out the defense from d3 grapple weapon versus d3 shield. You'll see a huge difference. Piercing also does an average of 1 dps more than grapple, which means they essentially do the same amount of damage. So basically you're giving up around 15 defense for just about nothing. The only thing grapple would be the best for is getting the shiny weapon. Since grapple requires less stats in the beginning, you'll have huge damage for less cost. That evens out later when other warriors hit d3 and are able to wear d3 equivalent weapons.

What the hell have you guys turned this thread into? It's a visual suggestion for adding claws not a balance debate! GTFO

Ownage for snow war don't you think? :W: Just because grapple isn't the most logical choice for end game char, doesn't mean you can't own with it. Depends how you use it, as with every other weapon. :scis:

Umm... I was talking about the other shiny weapon, the one that gives you D3 stats at D1. But yes, I'd imagine grapple would be great for snow war considering the stats it saves.

don't forget grapple is a fire resist laser too ;D fw, fb, cf are the main spells used for pvp (excluding bl because most people say it's easy to dodge).
