Poison, Enlight, and Languid

Postby LadyPhoenix » Mon Apr 12, 2010 1:42 am

Can you make it so Poison, Enlight and Languid potions are monster drops? The reason so many people complain about blind and stun is that these potions are so hard to make and a priest/wiz can just keep on spamming stun or blind over and over until you've wasted a whole 2 hours of potion making in 5 minutes. No one really complains about pepsi/blue because speed potions are so common. This could make it so blind and stun are a big part of the game again without everyone complaining it's "unfair".

succubus in knocker's tower drops it... but they only respawn like once an hour. it's not common enough to be a big influence.

The reason why these potions were hard to get, were because basil powder success rate was tremedously low. Now, there should be no problem.

Just letting you know if you haven't thought about this.

Was the success rate changed to 100%?

My suggestion means to make it more common so people don't need to go out of their way to make these potions that you drink as much as a hp pot. Since curse spells have no cool down, you can potentially get stunned endlessly. I don't mind making these potion for a pvp tournament but not everyday for war. If these can be used in war because they're like a drop from etins or something, then it would mean that the curse spells could be brought back into the game without people whining it's so unfair.

You mind to make 10 at a time but you dont mind to farm a low lv mob just to get some :?:

Changing mobs drop is painfull...

Well etins people hunt all the time for secrets. It's also summoned with db/cyc so I figured people wouldn't need to go out of their way to hunt for the potions.

due the current database design, if you add a drop (on most of mobs) you must remove another one... and sometimes by doing that u get a high chance to screw everything

If you may make that, why should it drop often on cheap mob just to ruin some class' spells?
